Select Lists - Wildcard Sorting
There is a hit for this in the workflow context, but would be great to be able to use wildcards for select lists universally. The type ahead functionality is great, but being able to use a wildcard here would really help where the type ahead string might get pretty long before you start to get to the part of the string that starts to differ.

Often wish that the SQL option were available in Select Lists for DW Cloud. Really miss it.

Add Employee Number in Name Search
Is there any way to add the employee number next to the name drop down when searching an employee? If I search Bob Smith, it will pull the files for all Bob Smiths in our system, but if you have the employee number next to the name it will be easier to populate just that one Bob Smith when searching.

Add GPS data from phone location for eForms
I have had several projects request the ability to collect a user's location data from their phone automatically while filling out an eForm. This one missing requirement forces me to look at different mobile capture front ends for projects and feeding that into DocuWare. Would prefer to have this info collected via the DocuWare form instead.

Add a small delay to Cloud FTP ingestion.
In some systems (including some copiers' scan function) there is a race to verify the file exists and its byte count is correct before the file disappears from the upload directory.
Currently, documents uploaded to the Cloud FTP service are sometimes snarfed up too fast. So by the time the directory listing refreshes, the file is gone. This prevents A) knowing all is well; B) resuming a failed upload; C) overwriting a failed upload. Instead, there is no file, so the verification fails and the file is uploaded again. This results in duplicates at the destination.

Allow the input from a CSV file or external DB table to be used as overlay data on the merge forms function.
It would be great if I could take the data, representing one or more transactions, from a csv file input, or from an external data base table, and utilize the merge forms capability to overlay each of those transactions onto a form to store, send or print the resulting form.

QR code - add "is different from previous page" split option
Split option in barcodes for "is different from previous page" is not available for QR codes. Please include option for QR codes.

Create a command line utility for user management
Active Directory Sync is great for the cloud except it doesn't delete users. At least it does deactivate them. I have a script to create and delete network user accounts anyway. With a command line utility it would be just as easy to add a line to the script to add or delete docuware users.

ADD AUTOINDEX JOBS TO DOCUMENT HISTORY
PLEASE ADD THE AUTOINDEX JOB HISTORY TO THE DOCUMENT HISTORY INFORMATION. ATTACHED THE SIMPLE IDEA.
THERE IS NO WAY OF KNOW IF/WHAT/WHEN AUTOINDEX HAS RAN, AND WHAT IT HAS DONE.

Be able to add an index field from form indexing
I occasionally have forms that I create for surveys. It would be nice if I could just create a file cabinet quickly with just a document type and then when I am making the form be able to add index fields to the file cabinet. It would also be nice if I could then export and import the file cabinet to my local server to sync and then use SQL to access. I can do that now but it is obnoxious because I have to open the file with a text editor and change a security setting to allow it…

Allow creation of sort order for Forms tab in DW7.3
With DW7.3 we have a new forms tab to display forms created. These forms appear in no particular order. Would like to be able to sort them by Form name and have it save after logging out and back in. Would really help when you have more forms than can be displayed on the screen.

DocuWare Cloud - Manual License Release
Would be really helpful if we could manually release a license. Sometimes we have users do things like switch from one browser to another and they have to wait the license timeout before they can once again login. A lot of the time this happens when I'm providing support and if I could just manually release the seat then it would really help the end user experience.

Display number of document in document trays
Hello,
It would be very helpful if the number of documents in each trays was display in the list of the document trays (see picture).
When a user have to deal with a great number of document trays, it will help to increase his productivity.

Being able to make a selectlist via an API CALL
BEcause more and more applications are SaaS application, it is harder and harder to make a select list from data from other applications or databases. This is because SaaS applications like finance application, protect access to their database directly. The only way to do this is via API calls. In this way the customer can control the API reguest and manipulate, alter, or adjust the return awnser that fills the select list.
This is a must have for Docuware to be able to integrate with other applications which databases are not reachable.2 votes -
Print selected pages option
Add ability to print or email selected pages or page range. Currently the only option is to print the entire document or the page loaded in the viewer.

Scan Configs permanently associated with Client scan settings
Clients should have the option to make the scan 'processing configuration' permanently associated with a specific set of scan settings. This would allow users to select, from multiple saved scan settings, a specific scan configuration without having to manually change the processing configuration each time.

Make possible to assign a role on the substitution list.
When a Task is assigned to a Role, we want to assign the task to a third user in the case of all the members of the role are out of the office.
