Enable multiselect or checkbox on search dialog dropdown menu
It would be usefull to have the option to select multiple values form a select list in search dialog.
Example:
- company has 10 Business Entities
- using only one search dialog we could enable management to search through specific group of entities (eg. 1, 2, 6, 8)Idea is to not have 10 different search dialogs locked on each BE.
Same could be applied to document type field, to filter just one or two, or 5 different types.
We already have 20+ store dialogs which limit store permissions for specific people based on entity and doc. type.

Allow for the ability to select the result dialog for each docuware workflow.
It would be nice to be able to select a specific result dialog for each workflow instead of always being forced to use the default workflow. This becomes challenging when the workflow are from completely different processes.

Allow document history and workflow history to transfer when copying a document to another cabinet
If you have a stored document and want to move it to another file cabinet either via 'Copy to', 'Quick copy to' or even a Document 'Transfer Job', the document history does not go with it.

Customize Fulltext Searches
When using a fulltext search, the text is highlighted in red and yellow. I wish to be able to customize these colors.

Ability to copy or duplicate a table field in a cabinet
I have a client that needs the ability to store 7000 lines for some invoices and each line needs to be described in 3 different tables(12 columns for each table). Because of the limits imposed by table fields (1000 rows max per table), I need to create 21 identical tables by hand, which is... heavy...
This problem led me to this post, where I am sharing my frustration and I hope that the community will vote for this topic :) .

Create an Admin message function
Create the ability for an Admin to post a login message for users to alert them to updates, new information, or whatever an Admin wants their users to know. Just a pop-up that can be closed by the user after reading it.

Enable viewer to show several pages at once
We have a lot of invoices with 2 or 3 pages. It would therefore be a great time saver if the viewer window would display all 2 or 3 pages at once. After all, there is more than enough grey space for that even if the first page is being displayed in full hight.

Workflow Section Comments
It would be nice to have a comment tool in Workflow where you could draw colored boxes around groups of activity blocks and add tool tips to the blocks that describes what that section of the workflow is doing.

Better Silent Install Options on System Upgrade - Creates a Bind Now
System upgrades present a pretty big challenge for enterprises with a large number of DocuWare Desktop Apps users. The upgrade package is not available until the system has been upgraded and that leaves about zero time for their technical teams to arrange for the upgrade via silent install. This is a real cause of trouble for these customers. We need a better way to handle the system upgrade/desktop apps situation for system upgrades.

read existing values from merge form fields in workflow.
In a workflow you can fill in an area of a merge form. It would be nice if you could read the current content of the merge form field and use that as a variable. For example we have fields that might need to be slightly edited. It would be nice to prepopulate the field with the existing data so that it could be appended. Yes this can be done by highlighting the text but it might be nice to automatically use that as a variable or to append an index field.

Make submitted DocuWare forms scrollable
One of the things I like least about DocuWare forms is that submitted forms are often multiple pages long. I will usually use form overlays to make them look nicer, but when that's not an option, it would be nice if the resulting multipage document would scroll in that window rather than having to click the next page icon.

freeze columns in table field
I have a table field that has a column for every day of the month that keeps track of therapists sessions with clients. A workflow assigns them a task and at the end of each session they put the time in for that client for that day. The issue is that by the middle of the month they have to scroll over and the client name is off the page. It would be nice if they could keep the column on the far left and still scroll over to the columns on the right like a spreadsheet.

Allow DocuWare Printer to be installed for USA with Letter as default
It make sense to allow or set the default paper size to LETTER for all USA installations. This could be auto-sensed by the installer or a check box on the selection screen.
Bothe manual and silent install methods should have this feature

Give a choice, check box, when installing Desktop Apps
Not all user want a Desktop Icon created everytime the desktop apps are installed or updated. This is particularly annoying for cloud installs where the updates are frequent.
It would be appropriate to able to decline the desktop icon from both the update installer and silent installer methods.3 votes -
Pull user's first and last names from their account.
With the integration of Azure, usernames become "jdoe" or "john.doe" and it makes it impossible to pull their first or last name out of their account. We would like the ability to do so for the Workflow tool.

Table Fields - Make Required Field Actually Required
Hello everyone:
It would be useful if a Required column in a table field actually be required when a document is stored and probably in other contexts, too.
Right now I can set a column as required, but unless a row in the table field is popped the field is not actually required and the document can be stored with no table field entries.Causes bit of extra work for me and the client as I then have to build an autoindex routine to check for existence of table field data and set a field to indicate whether or not…

Capitalize letters by default for especified fields
There is some fields our clients like to have it with capitalized letters by default, a little different than field masks, it would not show an error message instead it would just capitalize the letters and record to the database with capitalized letters.

Don't Merge attachments from an Email
If you have more then 1 attachment in an email, when uploading them to the Tray they all become 1 document in Docware. It would be nice if there was an option not to merge those attachments.

Display Workflow Users Assigned to a Group via a Role
Currently if I have a workflow task and I create a field in the dialog that is set to user of a group and multi-select and I have specified a group for the task assignment to display a list of users. I have found that if the group contains a role that the members of the role do not display in the list of user for the workflow field defined as user of a group.
