2. Admin - Reporting

   For a scalable product, it is time to provide more details on usage in the form of a report or KPI on a dashboard. We need a breakdown of how each cabinet is being used, not just the overall account. We cannot perform chargebacks to departments who use different cabinets proportionally to our overall account storage consumption.

4. More functions in folder result view

   It would be a great idea if the folder result in web client show the records paginated because if the result list have a lot of documents in a folder, the result take too many time to show it.

   Another great funcion is the possibily to filter the results in the colums as in a traditional result view, so you can have the document wanted easiest.

5. Texte von Zellen der Ergenislisten per Mausklick ändern

   um in der aktuellen Version 7.9 (cloud) Werte von Indexfeldern ändern zu können, muss man ein Dokument anklicken und das Dialogfeld "Indexeinträge ändern" anklicken.

   In einigen Fällen wäre es jedoch praktischer, wenn man direkt in der Ergebnisliste auf einen eintrag klick, um dann einen Text (oder Wert) eingeben zu können. Dies würde das Ändern von Indexeinträgen erheblich beschleunigen.

   Diese Funktion sollte mind. für den Admin zur Verfügung stehen.

6. DocuWare Configurations - License List

   Previously in DocuWare Configurations under Product Overview, there was a listing of Licenses with the users assigned to each license and then open licenses where we could assign a new user. That section appears to have been removed now. It appears that only place we can see License information now is under User Management by going into each individual user and clicking on the Licenses tab. Is there another location where we can access a list of licensed users? If not, can an additional column be added to the Users list with a checkbox indicating if the user has a license assigned or not?

7. System should inform the administrator that user ID already exists

   If I have two users with a long name, e.g. "Katarzyna Nowak" and "Katarzyna Kowalska", the system prompts the user ID "KATARZYN"
   While this is ok when creating the first user, with the second one this name cannot be used and the system does not inform about it, but changes the user ID to a random string of characters. System should in such a case prevent the creation of such a user and inform the administrator that such a user ID already exists.

   Aktuell kann die MSSQL Datenbank nur mit einem Lokalen Benutzer verwendet werden. Es sollte auch möglich sein AD User zu verwenden.

9. Öffnen eines Ordners in der Ordnerstruktur verbessern

   Für alle die bisher für ihre Daten eine Ablage im Dateisystem hatten und jetzt die Dokumente in Docuware ablegen wollen, ist die Verwendung von Docuware Ordner eine super Sache. Allerdings gibt es einen großen Nachteil. Um auf Dokumente in einem speziellen Ordner zugreifen zu können muss die ganze Ordnerstruktur durchgeklickt werden. Bei uns sind z.B. alle Dokumente für die Projekte in einer definierten Struktur abgelegt. Um z.B. auf alle Dokumente für einen Bestellakt zuzugreifen müsste man in Docuware sich durch 5 Ordner klicken. Bei hunderten von Projekten nicht machbar. Man könnte natürlich nach allen Dokumenten für einen Bestellakt suchen, verliert dabei aber die Struktur der Ablage.

   Es gibt aus meiner Sicht 3 Möglichkeiten die Ordnerstruktur zu verbessern.

   1. Öffnen eines Ordners als Parameter für den Explorer analog zu "explorer c:\Temp". Das ist aber wahrscheinlich sehr schwierig.

   2. Zugriff über eine Verknüpfung. Derzeit kann man ja im Explorer für einen Ordner eine Verknüpfung am Desktop erstellen, die dann ganz normal über einen Aufruf oder im Explorer geöffnet werden kann. Allerdings funktioniert die Generierung der Verknüpfung nur manuell. Wenn man das per Script durchführen könnte, wäre schon viel erreicht.

   3. Erweiterung des URL Generators um einen Link zu einem Ordner zu generieren. Wir verwenden diese Methode schon um Links zu Dokumenten mit Powershell zu generieren. Super Sache.

10. Text von Validierungsanzeige mit Absätzen versehen

    aktuell werden Hinweistexte zwecks Validierungsfehler ohne Absätze angezeigt. Dies kann sehr unübersichtlich für den User werden.

    Ein Vorschlag wäre, Zeilenumbrüche in den Validierungstexte mit einbringen zu können (siehe Screenshot).

11. Allow more C# libraries and data types for arithmetic expressions

    Please allow more C# libraries for arithmetic expressions.
    Currently (Version 7.10), it is very hard to work with Lists/Arrays/Keywords which contain values which are not of Type String.

    For example, when retrieving a List of decimal values via external data (SQL), this can only be stored into a keyword field, which is always handled as an array of string.

    The available LINQ functions do not allow to use sum, max, min etc. functions, because these depend on a numeric data type.

    Converting the string[] to a decimal[] or int[] is also not possible because no methods or classes which provide these functions are supported, for example Array.ConvertAll() would be a possibility, or using the Convert library inside a lambda expression (which is supported almost nowhere).

    Also, most of this would be way easier if we could create keywords of other data types - for example a keyword<decimal>.

12. Ich schlage vor, dass in der Dokumentenhistorie erkennbar ist, welcher User eine manuelle Text-Notiz hinterlassen hat.

    Es wäre hilfreich, wenn über die Funktion "Dokumentenhistorie" ersichtlich ist, welcher User eine Textnotiz auf einem Dokument hinterlassen hat. Im Moment kann man nicht erkennen, wer etwas manuell draufgeschrieben hat. Dies ist aber oft sehr wichtig, um Rückfragen zu den Inhalten der Textnotizen mit den Zuständigen machen zu können.

13. Formulare in Briefkorb ablegen!

    Es wäre ein wichtiger Schritt, die Möglichkeit anzubieten, die Formulare in Briefkörbe übermitteln zu können. Die Formulare kann man aktuell zu einem Ablage Dialog zuordnen (was ein Workflow auslöst). Es wird vielles vereinfachen, wenn die Formulare auch in einem Briefkorb gehen können und dann erst durch Mitarbeiter in einem Ablage Dialog indexiert werden kann.

14. Für Ablagedialoge sollte es Radiobuttons geben

    Aktuell stehen Radiobuttons nur für Web-Fomulare zur Verfügung (zb. ja / nein). Das beschleunigt die Eingabe sehr.

    In Ablagedialoge gibt es diese Option leider nicht, was das Ablegen von Dokumenten verlangsamt. Somit wäre es wünschenswert, wenn Radiobuttons auch in den Ablagen vorhanden wären (vor allem ist das sehr User-Freundlich)

    Im Workflow-Designer sollen alle aktiven Workflows gleich sichtbar sein. Aktuell ist es so, dass jeder einzelne Workflow angeklickt werden muss, um zu sehen, ob dieser aktiv / inaktiv ist. Bei einer großen Anzahl an WF ist das sehr unpraktisch und zeitraubend.

16. Form table option to add different custom predefined entries and make them read only.

    I have a travel expense form with 14 items that can be submitted for reimbursement listed in rows with dates/day of the week as column headers. I currently cannot build a table with this layout. The table is limited to 10 columns. I can add rows with a drop down of available options but that is not as user friendly. Please see example.

19. Make it so that when creating a workflow for a document created with a merge form you can use it for multiple forms.

    I have several merge forms that create the same document. For example employee benefits. When a new employee is hired they fill out a form and choose what benefit packages they want, 401(k) investment options and everything. But then I have a merge form for each option individually like just health insurance because an employee might want to make a change to just one of those benefits like the birth of a child. There wouldn't be any reason to fill out the 401(k) part for that. The problem I have is that I need to create multiple workflows that are almost identical except the trigger. It would be nice if you could trigger a workflow with multiple merge forms.

    We have a mixed license environment where we have traded some Concurrent Licences to Named Licenses. The Time-Out setting affects all licenses. We want the Named Licenses to never time-out.
