Automated Redaction
Ability to automatically redact every instance of data in a document. Preferably an annotation overlay or create a duplicate file.

fix the workflow designer to recognize when a local data connection has been restored
First I would like to thank DocuWare for no longer supporting MSSQL versions < 11. I would like to thank DocuWare even more for not letting me know before the update that broke my data connection. Having said that, I got the database updated and the local data connector setup but now all of my workflows that were affected by the data connector being broken need to be fixed. It would be really nice if it would just look and see that oh yeah the data source is there now and use it rather than forcing me to go into…

autofill single value
Docuware 7.6 preview..
I simply can't understand why you haven't made the autofill single value function in the store dialogs.. because this is the main input source to get documents inside Docuware.. (Currently in 7.6 is only on forms). Please make this feature available in 7.6 final release.. i have many customers who are waiting for this feature where they are using filtered lists..2 votes -
enter the network ID after copying a user in Admin
I would like to be able to copy a user, then enter a new Network ID in Admin. Otherwise, for Windows users, there seems to be no copy functionality.

Improve error notification in a task activity validation tab.
The validation tab will give an error if configured incorrectly however if the activity or a field is renamed the validation will break. You can still save the task and publish the workflow without an error notification that the validation is broken. This results in an error when the user tries to confirm the task.

Allow document history and workflow history to transfer when copying a document to another cabinet
If you have a stored document and want to move it to another file cabinet either via 'Copy to', 'Quick copy to' or even a Document 'Transfer Job', the document history does not go with it.

Changeable label names have to display as column name in CSV files exported from DocuWare List.
When manually CSV exporting from DocuWare List, the column name of the exported CSV file is not the label name defined in DocuWare List of configuration. The database field names are displayed in exported CSV file.
The DocuWare CSV Export Tool can solve this problem, but customers who cannot install desktop apps will not be able to use this tool. It is necessary to get CSV file from the list of Web Client.
Expected result :
The label name displayed in the List is displayed in the CSV file instead of the field name in the database.2 votes -
Docuware Export Tool
Have the ability to Save "Output Location" directory Path in the Docuware Export Tool without having to click on "Perform Export Now".
This would be handy to have because there a re times you need to set a directory but want to export any files yet.2 votes -
Workflow engine performance reporting tool
It would be nice if there were a cloud reporting tool that could analyze workflows for performance issues, long running queries, etc. and provide data on how long tasks are taking to complete behind the scenes. This would provide a good snapshot of what is going on under the hood. Currently any performance data or recommendations must come from support.

Add ability to unlock documents in cloud
Having the ability to unlock a document stored in a cloud version of DocuWare would be nice. Sometimes users leave documents locked which can cause an issue if the document is moving through a workflow.

i suggest that you put a zoom function in the document tracy
It would really be nice if I could see my documents in my tray instead of having to open them up one at a time and look at them., IF I have 10 doucments I would like to be able to read all of them.

Workflow form validation with web service
When forms are complex, with many fields which requires cross check and external databases lookup, the validation is not achievable with a single condition.
Having the ability to call a REST or SOAP web service to perform validation (as in store dialogs), would greatly increase the application usability.2 votes -

I suggest that you change the behavior of date fields when storing a document.
On the current behavior, on starting filling "DD", it automatically fills "MM/YYYY" with the current month and year. Awesome, don't change that.
But if by mistake we fill "15/11/201" (instead of "15/11/2021"), we change the line, then come back on the date field, delete all the value and start filling with "15", it automatically completes with the previous wrong information "11/201" instead of the initial behavior (current month and year).2 votes -

in setting, there should be an option to change color. Full white is really tiring for eyes. Please add. It doesn't even take a lot.

Intelligent indexing and colour blindness
14% of the Spanish population suffers from colour blindness (about 3.7 million Spaniards according to other sources, and an estimated 8% of the world's population).
This is no small number. By extrapolation, 14% of Spanish Docuware users live with this problem. It would not be unreasonable to think that a customisation of colours would benefit and please many Docuware users.
That is why we propose an improvement: From 'Profile and Settings' the user can customise the red, yellow and green colours that are presented in the current interface.

Add an "approved" stamp icon on the Windows title bar. It would save about six mouse clicks.
By adding an icon on the title bar to approve a doc, it would save six mouse clicks, or hundreds per day.

Set custom boxes background
Some users have differents research boxes in the same tray. But these boxes are very similar (sames fields with 1 or 2 prefilled fields).
They often don't see they are not in the right box for their research.
