Enable multiselect or checkbox on search dialog dropdown menu
It would be usefull to have the option to select multiple values form a select list in search dialog.
Example:
- company has 10 Business Entities
- using only one search dialog we could enable management to search through specific group of entities (eg. 1, 2, 6, 8)Idea is to not have 10 different search dialogs locked on each BE.
Same could be applied to document type field, to filter just one or two, or 5 different types.
We already have 20+ store dialogs which limit store permissions for specific people based on entity and doc. type.

Allow drag and drop to Outlook e-mails for sending documents
I get a lot of requests from users that would like the option to drag and drop documents from the DocuWare webclient (i.e. from a search result) directly into an Outlook e-mail.
Currently, the only option is to right click and Send by E-mail. However this option creates a new, empty, e-mail and freezes up the whole Outlook client until the e-mail is sent. This renders our users unable to respond to document requests or to attach documents into ongoing conversations - which is the case most of the time when a document is needed.

Right now, there is no possibility to change this behavior. DocuWare is using a system functionality from Windows to send an email. Outlook is blocking access to the main window when using this system functionality.

Allow for the ability to select the result dialog for each docuware workflow.
It would be nice to be able to select a specific result dialog for each workflow instead of always being forced to use the default workflow. This becomes challenging when the workflow are from completely different processes.

Add possibility to put "Fixed, Index,.." as parameter of a Webservice (not only global variables)
When we are in the WorkFlow we can call a webservice. Currently, we could only put 'global variable' as parameter of the webservice. It will be very helpfull to be able to put other type like 'Fixed value', arithmetics, indexes,... (like when we are in assignation box for exemple). Somes webservices needs a lot of parameters, most of time it's just a fix parameters like name, ect. When you have many and many parameters to put, it's long to have to declare each parameter as global variable for just put a fixed value, just in order to put it on…

Allow autoindex jobs to automatically refresh lists
Currently autoindex does not auto update the lists and requires you to refresh the browser entirely to see the documents that were added to lists. This should be changed to allow AIX to update the lists so users can immediately see the documents that they need to see

file name in document Tray
When downloading, Docuware shall alert if the same file name is downloaded/imported. This will avoid the duplication of files or will make separating files easier.

fulltext version 7.6 does not work searching on several indices with a space, without using "OR"
add the possibility of searching several indexes in all fields, e.g. 1234 1235 1236 without the need to enter "OR", e.g. 1234 OR 1235 OR 1236

Allow fields set to retrieve value from database user field to be effected without changing other fields using database values
Allow fields set to retrieve value from database user field to be effected without changing other fields using database values Currently for example, if you have a field set to lastaccessuser and another set to lastmodified user, opening a document will change all of these fields regardless of if the document was modified or not
Because there is a field is set to retrieve its value from LastAccessUser, and because it is a user field modification gets traced for DWMODUSER, DWMODDATETIME, DWFIELDSTAG and DWDOCUMENTTAG. These fields should be able to be changed independently

Document Viewer:Image Manipulation: Image threshold - For Dark Scans
Have the ability to retouch documents scan that is to dark with using a threshold slider, and convert Full Colour/Grayscale scanned PDFs to B&W to reduce size for emailing.

workflow notifications in history
DocuWare Workflow History on a document shows emails on a reassign of a task but it does NOT show any email activity when a task has notification enabled to send an email to the assigned user of a task. History absolutely needs to include an entry when a task notification email is sent as one of the automated activities.

autofill single value
Docuware 7.6 preview..
I simply can't understand why you haven't made the autofill single value function in the store dialogs.. because this is the main input source to get documents inside Docuware.. (Currently in 7.6 is only on forms). Please make this feature available in 7.6 final release.. i have many customers who are waiting for this feature where they are using filtered lists..2 votes -
Use attached files in form to fill out form fields
When attaching a structured file to a form, it would be great if we could use the data from the file to fill out fields of the form in order to speed up the indexing process. This could work the same as the import features from a folder where you need to include identification rules, anchors and the specific part of the document where the data needs to be extracted.

Configurar a nivel de WF que los formularios de fusión puedan ser bloqueados para evitar su modificación
Contar con la posibilidad que los formularios de fusión puedan ser bloqueados por medio de WF, para evitar su modificación, esto ayudara mucho para el envio automatico de información a clientes, sin la posibilidad de que puedan modificar el PDF enviado, y a la misma vez que algún usuario modifique el documento dentro del repositorio.

Allow document history and workflow history to transfer when copying a document to another cabinet
If you have a stored document and want to move it to another file cabinet either via 'Copy to', 'Quick copy to' or even a Document 'Transfer Job', the document history does not go with it.

Edit web form during multiple steps of a workflow before submitting to a merge form
For example on an Employee Injury Report form it would be nice for the employee to fill the top half of the form and then submit it to step 2 where a manager finishes filling out the form by utilizing the form itself and not a task dialog (no signature box is available in a task dialog). Then the form is submitted to a merge form which formats all the data into a pdf.
Currently you cant sign a form in multiple steps like this without using a stamp. This makes the workflow look very rudimentary.
