Choose if a File Cabinet Document is brought in As Stored or converted to PDF
Docuware has been inconsistent with Trays. Some versions convert all documents going into the tray from the file cabinet to PDF and current versions do not.
There are good reasons for both.
In the case of a legacy system that was once all TIFF images this is very helpful to bring them up-to-date.
In the case of loosing the ability to maintain a records integrity, it should not be allowed.
If you allowed administration to choose a Trays ability to convert or not would allow both.

DocuWare does not convert document types during import or storage. A document is only converted to PDF when annotations are merged to an image file in the Viewer.

Create a datetime column in a table field
I have a table field with two columns when I should only need 1. I have a date field and a time field. There is no option for a datetime field.

I have a table field with dates and I would like to use the date in the table field to send a reminder message but I can't start a workflow with a table field.

Sending a Request - Default Ability - Automatically Apply Stamp w/ Decision
Hello!
Client request here to have the ability to set the check box for Automatically Apply Stamp w/ Decision to be checked by default, and I can definitely see how this might be quite important. They know they'll want this for all requests, and as it is the user will have to remember to hit the check box every time, and there will almost certainly be times this gets missed. Not the first time I've heard this request, so now it's time to see if we can ********* the backlog.

Add the option to select a merge form to send from the email task
When dealing with a webform with multiple merge forms, DocuWare does not have the function to select between them in order to only send one document out, and later in the workflow to add the second document to send out , lets use the following scenario , a customer needs to pay for a service , thus a invoice needs to be generated and sent out, after proof of payment was received DocuWare workflow needs to generate a receipt of payment, using the same workflow with multiple merge forms.

This seems to be more a configuration issue as this could be already done today.

With New LDAP Synchronization, add more options for Loginname.
With New Synchronization, add more options for Loginname. Currently only samaccountname, userpricipalname, and userpricipalprefix can be used. We suggest also allowing the "mail" property because it provides consistency with the Email address used.

Ability to total/put formulas in forms
If we cannot get the table field in forms, could we have the ability to perform basic totaling/other formulas in forms? I would like people who put in multiple amounts to have the double check that the amount totals.

Cloud Version-Cloud Status
The Cloud Status for Storage should update more frequently. We had an issue and were told that the Storage Quota status updated every 3 to 6 hours. It appeared to be closer to 6 hours for the update. It should update every 1 to 3 hours if the Quota is over 80%.
It would also be nice if it defaulted to 7 days, not 12 months.

Workflow Manual Reassigns - Capture Email Message in Addition to Subject
This comes directly from a client, and he claims that this is quite important to him. So, it's also very important to me.
In the workflow history when someone manually reassigns a task and chooses to have an email sent only the Subject is captured. In our case the message was quite important and not having it in the history caused quite the bad situation.
Can we get the Message added to the workflow history for the reassign, too?

Concurrent license option for cloud
There are a number of problems that I have a difficult time solving with the user licensing with the cloud solution. For example, an organization has 5-10 regular DocuWare users, using the software daily. Same organization has 100 field users who need to sign into DocuWare two or three times per year.
I realize that a concurrent user license will have a higher monthly cost than a regular user license, but this will allow me to solve problems with DocuWare, rather than having to rely on ancillary or alternative products to do so.

Add workflow activity to run scripts or exe.
It would be nice if there were a workflow activity that allows a script or exe to be called along with the ability to provide parameters. This could be very powerful and would provide more options for integrations.

Auto-Check expiration dates for certificates
E-signature via official certificates is absolutely required in most countries electronic document management law. If we want to get rid of all that paper, we need to e-sign all of our invoices. It is a problem Docuware do not give you a heads up when certificates are expired, It should notice you and stop all that e-sign required processes until new certificate is set.

Document Count for File Cabinet in Cloud
In the Administration Information of the File Cabinet details, include a field that gives the number of documents in the File Cabinet.

Please add a permission for changing user e-mailaddress
A user can edit his e-mail address via the user menu: profile & settings.
It's company policy that a personal e-mail address is forbidden. There is no permission to prevent users to change their own e-mailadress?

Capitalize letters by default for especified fields
There is some fields our clients like to have it with capitalized letters by default, a little different than field masks, it would not show an error message instead it would just capitalize the letters and record to the database with capitalized letters.

Configurable Output and Indexing settings for each Attach File field
Make it possible to store file attachments separately, instead of always clipping them to the main form(s). For example, in a W-9 Vendor Signup form, we may prompt the vendor to attach their Certificate of Liability Insurance. Instead of clipping this attachment to the W-9 form, we would like to store this document separately with a document type of "Certificate of Liability Insurance".
Currently, every attachment for every File Attach field gets clipped to the Web Form or to EVERY merged form that is configured. This is rarely the desired behavior and results in duplicate documents.
