  1. Live table field calculations in workflow task (like forms)

    It would be great if we could do live line item calculations like we see in forms. For instance, on an invoice, we enter the quantity and price each for a line and the next column automatically fills with the subtotal.

  2. Stamps - Permissions Loophole

    By allowing all users the ability to create a stamp, you're allowing them to set any field to any value they want. Yes there are permissions you can lock down on fields, but if it's a field they normally can change, for example a Status field, they're no longer limited to select list options. They could mark an invoice "Approved" for example when they're not supposed to, potentially kicking off workflows, etc. This is a loophole that needs to be closed. Simply putting back Stamp creation in the functional profile would fix this.

  3. Add font color option to fillable form field in workflow

    I would like to have the option to change the font color of fill areas on forms from a workflow when the field data is changed.
    The form is completed and all items are entered onto the form in black. Then a workflow is triggered. The workflow dialog asks for information that can change what is on the form, then the workflow is configured with Assign Data to update that fill area on the form. It would be nice if the updated data could be placed on the form in a different font color, making it quick and easy to…

  4. create a single-line or multi-line text field linked to a selection list

    It would be very interesting to be able to associate a single-line or multi-line text field with a selection list. We might have the ability to make some great form.

  5. Export to Excel file

    Currently we have the option to Export to CSV file. In our environment we work with file type: .xlsx
    Is it possible to add an option to Export as Excel file as when you use the CSV list and you update information, you lose your changes and are forced to first store it as an .xlsx file before editing.

  6. password reset notification

    When administrators or system administrators send the reset password link to Docuware users, then send an additional email notification to let administrators know if the user has completed the process, or make the reset password window longer than 15 minutes.

  7. Further restrict access to Restore documents in Trash Bin

    Please add the ability to restrict access to the Restore button in the Trash Bin. The attached is where I would expect to find this control.

    The following provides guidance when there is access to the Restore button, and to which documents the user may restore. I've summed it up like this, based upon File Cabinet permissions.

    Those who are set as file cabinet Owner may see and Restore all deleted files.
    A file cabinet User (who has delete permissions) may Restore only those documents they have deleted, this means that the Restore button exists.

  8. Overview panel anchored to view all document pages

    Anchor Overview panel: The idea is that the anchor view will appear when clicking on the document, maximized, so the user can view all the pages of the document.

  10. Keep the document viewer overview thumbnail images maximized at all times when a document is being displayed

    Currently the document overview is minimised by default when a document is open in the viewer. Please provide the option to keep this maximised by default.

    This would allow users to split documents, delete pages, reorder pages etc in the store dialog area.

  12. Provide a way to store table values from eforms and/or workflow on to merge forms

    Enable a method to store table data from eforms or from within a table field in workflow onto merge forms. Does not seem like its currently possible even in workflow according to communication I had with support. Sounds like keyword fields could be used but duplicate values are not supported and tracking the colums/relationships might be difficult.

  13. Customize table column by double-clicking

    As a user, I would like to be able to adjust table columns to the width of the entries by double-clicking. This would allow me to quickly adjust the width of the table columns and not have to manually drag the columns smaller or larger. (Function like Excel).

  14. enable sending a flattened PDF version of a document out of Docuware

    Enable saving a flattened version of a document to in turn mail out of the system or within the email workflow tool, enable flattening a copy of the document for customer facing.

  15. When sending an email to a GV that matches the username of an inactive user, do not throw a general error task.

    DocuWare R&D claims that this works as intended, but it makes no sense to work like this for inactive users.

    Just looking to get this logic re-evaluated.

  16. Add history / audit track for inbox and workflow designer to stored documents

    When a document is stored, you can find only history after storing.
    There should also be history from document tray and workflow in the download .csv. This is important because in an audit you want to know, when a document is send to the tray and the time between sending and storing a document. Also changed indexdata by a workflow should be available for auditing. Who has entered the index data a person or was this done by a workflow. Most of this data is available, e.g System entries of a document in document are available, but lost when storing…

  18. Add the same buttons in WorkflowTasks than in filecabinet results

    Hi,
    Currently, in all filecabinet's results (List, result, folders) we are able to add buttons for some DocuWare tools such as "Extract to revise", "print", "send as PDF", "update index entry",... (see on screenshot 1).

    In workflow tasks, only two buttons are available : "History" and "Reassign" (see on screenshot 2).
    For some clients, other tools are part of the workflow process. For example "extract to revise" option, is not available either on the viewer toolbox and it represents at least 3 clicks for the user to perform. So it would be great to have the possibility to have those…

  19. Allow updates to file extension types for stored file without obscuring available metadata for edits/access

    It would be helpful to update a file type of a stored file (e.g., changing a .doc to a .docx which uses less storage space) without losing the metadata/edit history which is inherent by simply uploading the updated file type.

    If not possible in the simple "edit" option, it would still be helpful if it could occur in the check-out/version process.

    This is especially important where updating forms/samples because it is helpful (for internal process audits) to see who has made the changes to a form/sample, and when that happened. Conversely, it is better (for data/file management) to update stored…

  20. Show in History Details which System Function changed Index Values

    As an admin, I would like the history to show which system function, e.g. Auto Index or which workflow, made the change to the index. The system functions usually run with the admin, so it is very time-consuming to trace which function changed the index. This is especially the case with many auto index jobs or workflows that change index values.
