Allow the ability to change the field order in multiple task lists in DocuWare Admin Online
Currently, you have to go through each individual task list and change the order of the fields one by one. It would be extremely time saving to be able to apply the field order changes to multiple task lists at the same time if they have the same fields.

Restore Side by Side Web Baskets and Indexing Fields
Previous versions of Docuware allowed baskets to be organized side by side in columns. The current (v6.7) split view window is a poor substitute and uses space much less efficiently than did the old version's columns.
Further, having the indexing fields completely overtake the basket view is a phenomenal waste of space and deprives the user of valuable information. There is no need to have index fields that extend the entire width of the monitor.
Please restore a view option that approximates the old (v5) column view. It was far more information dense and vastly more useable.

Print direct to printer
I would like to be able to print documents direct to a printer without having first to print them as a pdf.
Presently I need to print a document to pdf and then send it to the printer from my pdf viewer. Additionally, each document printed in this way leaves a window open in my pdf viewer, and these need to be closed manually rather than being closed once the instruction to print on a printer has been sent.
It also means that if I am viewing the document in DocuWare it is being loaded twice, once in DocuWare's own…

Give the ability to drag and drop from the results list into an email
When I get emails asking for documents I don't want to have to start a new email chain to be able to email someone a document. I would like to be able to pick a document from the results list and drag and drop into an existing email chain.

Allow customization of the workflow documents view per user
Currently the workflow documents view can not be customized per user. Event the end user change the column width or swap columns - these settings are not saved between logins. Additionally we need to have an ability to define different workflow view per user per task.

Document Sections
It would be nice if it was possible to make divisions within a file (i.e. in Personnel Documents you can have sections that can be sorted by items like absences or applications).

Result List Navigation
Move navigation of search results to the top so that they are in constant view and access. (Side to side slide bar, page advances, etc.)

Better error messages
They don’t always stand out on the screen and seldom offer any helpful hints as to what the error is.

Graphics are outdated
Very boxy and basic looking. Tool bars and tabs would be easier to use.

Open Linked Documents in new viewer by defualt
Need the ability to have linked documents open in a new viewer by default. I know it is possible to right click and open the linked document in a new viewer but this is inefficient.

Visibility of the workflow document when openning the linked documents
The preview of the document selected from workflow should be remains open when openning the linked documents. This is the functionality of Docuware 6.1. Now in the Docuuware 6.7 this functionality has been removed. Currently the preview of the document selected from Tasks is closed when you look into linked documents.

Fuzzy Searching Capability
Potential customers have often inquired about fuzzy search support where words that aren't completely spelled correctly are still found similar to functionality of popular search engines. This is a current feature in some competitive document management offerings.

Utilize one of the Intelligent Index fields to name the documents in the tray
Many documents land in the tray to be indexed but sorting through them to find a specific document would be simplified if one of the Intelligent Indexing fields was displayed as the doc name.

Allow Document Name field be populated even if the field is not visible
Currently Index field which is set as DocumentName is populated with the filename being stored ONLY the field is visible in the store dialog,
This should be happening even if the field is not visible. There is really no need for the user to see the field, but it still needs to be populating.9 votesThank you for your idea. Save search criteria in multi cabinet saved searches
It would be helpful for a user/administrator to be able to save search criteria in multi-cabinet saved searches/task list.

Left Clicking or highlighting a value in the search dialog allows you to select and can copy the value.
From the file cabinet, left click on any of the value allows you to select that value (highlight) and copy so that you can paste it elsewhere, like back into a search dialog.

Right Click on a value to search for all related documents based on this value
From the file cabinet, right click on any of the values and have ability to search for all related documents based on this value in this category. For example if Status = Indexed and I wanted to quickly search for all documents with this same value even though my search dialog had be set to another search type, then i can initiate a new search dialog from the right click and a drop down option.
