E-Mail by date
It would be usefull, to get an email because of date not only by event.
A resubmission is needed on that date or 3 days before.

mandatory comments
It would be nice to be able to make comments mandatory ones, when check-in new version of the document to the File Cabinet

Disabling Tutorial on startup for all users
Please allow administrators to disable tutorial on start-up in 6.9
This is so annoying for existing users.

Change icon of unreadable document
In the result list, when a document is unreadable (profil attribute of the user), having a "crossed" logo, informing the user AND preventing him to any try to open the document. Today (6.7 and more) an error message appear.
In addition, is it possible to display the index (via Modify index menu) even if the document is not displayable. today it is not.1 voteThank you for your idea. Please let "Keep entries” option to be checked by default. It will shorten 1 step for companies who only use that function in their imports.
Unfortunately, this functionality is not implemented. It’s not posible to set “keep entries” option checked by default.

Set notifications preferences
It would be great if each user could set his notifications preferences on how to get the emails from the workflow manager. For example :
1. send me a mail for each task
2. send me a mail once a day

Select "all" choice
Need a “select all” button so I can clear out/delete my tray after I’m done working. For example: I had to copy an entire file section for the state. I had to go through the file page by page to separate out the different documents so only the pages that belonged together were in that document. I split out the next one and so on. I did this because I needed to print them as 2-sided and this was the only way I could think of that wouldn’t put a page that didn’t belong (i.e. 1 of 3 pgs –…

Add the function "jump directly to the last document" in the Viewer in case of documents put together with a clip.
Lawyers have an awful amount of documents in their cases/lawsuit (sometimes more than 200) and they put them together with a clip. Nevertheless in the Viewer you can only jump from one after the other, which meas you have to make 200 clics until you see the last document.

prompt field in lists
I'd like to see the ability to prompt for input on certain fields for Lists. So a list would be set with certain fields that are hard coded but have the ability to prompt the user for values for other fields.

Use File Name during Edit the same way as in Download
The name of the file exported from DocuWare should be consistent whether using Download, Send, or Edit.
Currently, when I select to edit a document, it opens the originally stored file name. However, selecting Send or Download will result in the document name / file name defined by the index.
This can cause confusion if you have several documents that are copies of a template document even though their document name is different, the file name used during "Edit" remains the original.

A notice of being checked out is only shown if a subsequent viewer attempts to edit the document. A notice should also be provided that the document is check out even if they are only viewing it. Otherwise the user viewing the document is assuming that it is the most current version and may take action accordingly not knowing that they should actually wait and view the document later after any…

Allow for reset of pre-indexed fields in Document Tray
When using the autofill indexing to store multiple documents in the document tray to a file cabinet, using the "Reset" button does not clear all fields in the store dialog. Understanding that this may be by design, there should be an option to reset all fields or just the fields that don't apply to the pre-filled index fields.

add bookmarks to the Viewer
Every time I close a multi-page document in the Viewer I lose my place - it'd be great if I could place a bookmark (with or without a name), especially for those long documents.
The "Place Bookmark" button could be in the Tools or Navigation section and the Navigation bar could allow you to scroll between multiple bookmarks, the way you scroll between pages and docs.

Options for changing the font and the font size for search and result dialogues
It should be possible to change the font and the font size for search dialogues and result lists to safe space. Until now you can only use the zoom from your browser.

Make it possible to rename values in keyword fields
In the Windows client a user could go to the Info box and select a keyword value and rename it very easily. In the Web client a user must delete and recreate a value. This can be very difficult if there are several keyword values associated to the field and they have several characters.

Add .ptx files as a supported file
Adding .ptx file format would be beneficial to Docuware because there are law firms and court systems that use this type of file format for their records. This is a standard form of file type for law firms, attorneys and court houses across the nation.

Allow word wrap in Stamp Text Fields
Allow word wrap in stamps. We need to add quite long comments in stamps as part of our workflow, but there is no word wrap functionality for longer comments.
