Versioning - Replace document
An option 'Replace Document' using with Versioning should be interesting. Actually, versioning allows to modify index entries and modify or attach documents to the original one, but not to replace (delete) the original one.
This is usefull for versioning when a new document becomes the latest needed documents.
This is done by lot of competitors

Multi Column Select List - Auto-Populate Data Once a Feld Is Selected
Hi,
Is this possible......
Multi-Column select lists.......
If a user selects an entry in a field using a multi column select list, it auto populates the data in the other fields that are configured in that store dialog using the multi-column select list.
I think this could be a very powerful feature that would eliminate a lot of processing time. If configured and programmed correctly, using a database connection select list, it could enhance DocuWare considerably.

Rename the "Extraction" function
For many users the term "Extraction" (in french) is not really eloquent.
It seems be better to call this function "Révision du document" (in french too).

Versioning with drag / drop from a tray
It would be convenient to make a rise of revision of a document by dragging the new version from the tray on the document involved (in the same way to attach a document with paperclip).

Go directly to the page that contains that indexed value
The ability to go directly to the page that contains that indexed value. For example, If I index a value on page #5 out of document that has 20 pages (a multi-page PDF) and when I search/retrieve for that value, it takes me directly to view page #5 without scrolling the pages. The idea is to click on an index value on the left pane, the document viewer on the right pane brings to page #5 without doing a full text search.

Have the viewer act similar to acrobat 9 (adobe editor) to edit documents easier
Have the viewer act similar to acrobat 9 (adobe editor) to edit documents easier. It would be nice to drag and drop to re-organize documents right from the viewer. Instead of unclipping a document just to re-organize a couple pages it would be nice to move them with a simple drag to the new spot as well as adding another PDF directly into the file by using drag and drop. Deleting a page from the PDF would be a nice functionality that acrobat 9 offers as well.

"Edit" button after check-out/check-in
In Docuware WebClient is some inconsistency.
User can "edit" document from search view/task lists, however after even once check-out/check-in to be able to edit the document user must always use the check-out/check-in. After check-out/check-in "Edit" button from view/task lists becomes inactive.
Please to add "Edit" functionality in the search view/task lists when document was checked-out/checked-in.

Copy the value of a field, from result list or index info dialog
An index value stored first in DW, need to set in a third party application. When the value is a long reference, the best to prevent typing error is to copy the value from DW to third party.
it can be available from Search result , copying the text, (in version 6.1 it was possible, no more in newer version) or from display info index particularlywhen index modification is not allowed by administrator on the field (tested and not possible from version 6.7 and above )

URL integration to allow the pre-population of an Eform
Ability to a customer to convert their pre-printed forms into digital forms but not have to manually capture all of the field information when it is already available from a 3rd party data source.

Apply version control to a document when annotations are added
When annotations are made to a document they are not saved back as version controlled. This can cause challenges when a business may need to produce original document for legal reasons but still maintain the latest document with annotations for other business purposes. This idea could also address other customer feedback/idea postings relating to the need to print/email documents with or without annotations.

Accounting people want to type dollar amount without DOT ("."). We had this on 6.0 but not 6.9.
Accounting people used to type dollar amount without "." (DOT). For example, 12345 will show as $123.45. Old 6.0 version had this but not 6.9. Is it easy to turn this function back on? Thanks.

User-name Watemarks when viewing sensitive documents
for the documents that are deemed sensitive and are not allowed to be printed, downloaded or shared in any matter, it would be nice to have also a watermark of the username that is viewing the document printed on the document itself such that, if leaked by using a phone or other capturing device, it can be retraced to the user.

Email Notifications - File Cabinet vs Individual Users
Docuware admins should be able to set a single email notification template for a file cabinet. Currently, admins must create an email notification for each user in the cabinet, which requires a lot of administrative overhead.
Please allow the ability to set a notification template at the file cabinet level.

Allow each user to create an email signature. The ability to copy or import ones outlook email signature would be beneficial.

Allow Documents To Be Placed in the Tray In The Order In Which They Were Selected
When adding files to a tray from a result view or importing, the documents will not keep the order in which they entered the tray.
This was a feature of the Windows client. They were added to the Basket Synchronously. With the web client they are added Asynchronously and if a larger file takes more processing in the queue it will go in later. Also the modification time seems to be based on minutes rather than the "milliseconds since Epoch to date". This also throws them out of order.7 votesWe are currently not considering your idea.

Keyboard Shortcut To Quick Copy Selection Directly To Default Tray
In the case of sending invoice multiple invoices in a particular order to a third party for processing, the client needs to search for and select each invoice from the result. The number of clicks and losing track when doing a CTRL select across 100 item limitation the result list is time consuming. The desktop client had this feature.
