  2. allow us to control which store dialogs can be seen from a document tray

    document trays are used for different things. eg. invoices coming in to one facility go into a particular document tray (from C2Mailor or from DWImport from a hotfolder linked to that facility's MFP, or users at that facility only have access to that C2O configuration, etc). Wouldn't it be great if any of those invoices could only be stored using one particular store dialog (eg. the Invoices one), even if that particular user also had access to a store dialog for contracts or other documents that never ended up in this tray? That would simplify the user's menus, reduce possible…

    When opening a document that needs stamping/signing, it would be great if stamp go automatically go to a predefined location on the document (signature field).

  4. Link documents manually

    Add a function to link manually two or more documents. We have a lot documents from different areas (Finance, Sales, Production etc.) but for the same product (movie trailer etc.). We want to search for the Trailer and want to see all documents about it.
    All the documents itself are indexed in docuware. Clipping is not a solution, because all the documents are indexed in the System.

  5. Our customers have to have the Placeholder function of the Field Masks included in the Web Client

    According to your FAQ #1858, Because of technical reasons it is not possible to display in Web Client placeholders in fields with field masks. Only in Windows Client placeholders can be displayed.

    A large portion of our customer base is comprised of County Clerk’s Office within the State of Indiana. The primary field that they use to look up documents is a 24-character Cause Number, which includes numbers and letters separated by dashes in a state-defined format.   6. Remember the last used annotation after moving to next/previous document

    In the web client when you choose an annotation such as the "Write text on overlay" it does not remember the last used annotation function after changing pages. The windows client would remember the last function and not require the user to continually click the same function over and over again. This becomes very frustrating when working on a large batch of files. Please see the attached file for a detailed walk through of the problem.

  7. Table Fields - Default Box Size Options

    It is fairly common for me to have a case where I need to present a user with more than one table field, and sometimes a few of them. In most cases the row count for the table fields is small, resulting in a lot of wasted white space in the table field boxes. This makes for a lot of scrolling to get to what a user needs to see or act on. While this would have value anywhere, it would have special importance in workflow tasks.   8. Allow drag and drop to Outlook e-mails for sending documents

    I get a lot of requests from users that would like the option to drag and drop documents from the DocuWare webclient (i.e. from a search result) directly into an Outlook e-mail.

    Currently, the only option is to right click and Send by E-mail. However this option creates a new, empty, e-mail and freezes up the whole Outlook client until the e-mail is sent. This renders our users unable to respond to document requests or to attach documents into ongoing conversations - which is the case most of the time when a document is needed.

  9. Make the option "Add wildcard to the search" also available for Select Lists.

    It would be useful to have this option as for search masks.

    This would make it easier to filter the values in the list.
    Would be extremely useful on Web Forms

  10. link annotations with index fields

    It would be great to give the ability to annotations to auto-populate index fields, like the stamps do. Since stamps are permanent and cannot be edited or deleted, the annotations are more user friendly for "live documents" that are being updated.

  11. Ability to store a Form in Document Tray or File Cabinet

    Currently you can only store a Form directly into a File Cabinet with a store dialog. Need ability to store into a Document Tray as well. When storing with Import, Printer or email you have option to store document into Document Tray or File Cabinet

  12. enter and use URLs in the DocuWare index fields.

    Being able to enter and use URLs in the DocuWare index fields would be a huge help. This way users could potentially access other platforms, website, etc . directly from Docuware once the url is saved in an index field.
    I have also received this request from a customer.

  13. add keyboard short to confirm task

    I'm surprised that you can't confirm a task without using the mouse. Customers confirm a lot invoices everyday and don't wanna use the mouse every time.

    Hello,
    When the user edit index entries of a document, it would be much more easier if this document were automatically opened in the viewer.

    Indeed, when the user processes invoices that are all similar but different, he can easily have an invoice opened in the viewer that is not the one he is modifying and do not realize it. This is a source of error.

  15. Bring back the ability for field masks to auto format data.

    As an example if the mask is for a SSN, allow typing of 123456789 without the dashes. This needs to be for storing as well as searching and also point and shoot indexing

  16. Allow formatting of numeric fields in the admin tool to exclude the thousands separator.

    This would allow the use of numeric fields for PO numbers and the like and provide the range search capability in the search dialog, as well as proper numeric sorting.

  17. Give the ability to drag and drop from the results list into an email

    When I get emails asking for documents I don't want to have to start a new email chain to be able to email someone a document. I would like to be able to pick a document from the results list and drag and drop into an existing email chain.

  19. Add the ability to use an index field to pre-populate forms in a stamp

    It would be beneficial to be able to add predefined values from an index field when creating a stamp with form fields. Currently, if you set a form field in a stamp to "Predefined Entry" you only receive the basic options like currentusershortname, currentdate, etc.

  20. Stamp locations

    My idea would be to have the option with Tasklist to be able to set a specific location on a document for the a stamp to be placed automatically. Individual stamp configuration would be idea. Mobile clients don't seem to be able to get the stamp in the same spot as the web client.
