  1. Add HTML support to forms fixed text element

    Add HTML support to forms fixed text element, such as bullets. Text can be formatted in Word but most of the formatting is lost when the text is pasted into the editor.

  3. Add the ability to select checkboxes on a fillable document through the workflow

    For example, the document has checkbox fields that need to be marked. The only way I can figure out how to do it is make a field for each checkbox and instruct the users to enter "X" in the text field if they would want it selected.

  4. Rename confirm button in workflow

    It would be nice if the confirm button in a workflow user task could be renamed. I.E. save, update, route, cancel, remove.

  5. Support for DocuWare Cloud Desktop Apps on Windows 365 Business/Enterprise environment

    Many users will use Windows 365, the Cloud PC environment released from Microsoft this year. DocuWare Desktop Apps must also be supported for this environment.

    This request includes support for virtual environments in Azure Desktop and AWS EC2 as well as Windows 365.

  6. Remove Highlight Selections if Store Operation is Cancelled

    Hello Everyone and please vote for this enhancement!

    It would be a great enhancement to operations if the highlighted set was NOT still highlighted in the document tray if the Store operation is cancelled. An important client just lost a couple hundred documents due to the fact that after cancelling the Store operation the highlighted group was still highlighted when they attempted to delete a single document. I can't picture a scenario where keeping the highlighted set is a benefit, but can see (and have seen) how keeping the highlight can cause trouble.

  7. Highlight Search

    The new Highlight Search feature added to SmartConnect has a major design flaw. You specify a search dialog and one field to search but Highlight Search IGNORES all the specific criteria set in the selected search dialog which means it returns way more documents then the user expects. Example: I have an Accounting Documents - Purchase Order search that searches Doctype = Purchase Order and PO Number is the field that Highlight Search is configured to use. I highlight a PO Number in my accounting software and DocuWare Highlight Search returns the PO, Invoice, Check, Packing List, etc. even though…

    Workflow: Remove active instances immediately from a user's Tasks if user is removed from a role that is part of the workflow. Currently the active instances that were assigned to the user while they were part of the role stay in the user's Tasks until they are completed.

  9. Das Setup aktualisiert den Datenbank User nicht in Triggern (MySQL)

    Ich habe in den letzten Wochen das DocuWare System eines Kunden von einem Windows Server 2012 auf Server 2019 umgezogen. Der Kunde nutzt die interne DocuWare Datenbank (MySQL). Es wurde der KBA Artikel für DocuWare Umzüge befolgt.

    In diesem Zuge sollte der alte Datenbank-User für DocuWare ausgetauscht werden. Beim Installieren (und auch später im Livebetrieb) ist mir aufgefallen, dass das Setup den Datenbank User nicht in den vorhandenen Triggern aktualisiert. Während des Setup Vorgangs wurden bereits Fehler ausgegeben, dass der alte Datenbank User nicht gefunden werden konnte. Nachdem ich diesen auf der neuen Datenbank angelegt hatte, lief das Setup durch.…

  10. Add an option to allow published forms to be hidden from the Webclient.

    This would allow the administrator to choose which forms can be published to the GUI and other forms that the user's must know the URL for. This is an issue for some of our customers who have a lot of public forms, but they also have departmental forms mixed in. If those public forms could be hidden from the GUI, it would make the forms list from the web client easier to use.

  11. create automatic incremental number that is always consecutive

    It is possible to create a auto increment field in DocuWare, however when you cancel the form before storing the document it will increment the number already. Please make it possible to create a metadata field with 100% consecutive numbering

  12. I suggest you add ability to store .zip files!

    I suggest you add ability to store .zip files! we have need to store zip files supplied by our clients. it takes alot of time to extract the files and then have to send up to docuware. outlook to docuware should allow zip file storage sent thats an attachment in an email. it only sends up a list that whats inside the zip file.

  13. DATABASE LOOKUP

    This issue has been posted a lot of different ways but nothing has happened with it. I know Docuware has come up with their version of autoindexing and don't seem to understand why so many other softwares have standardize how it is done. You create a odbc connection and assign it to a data entry textbox. When someone keys a value and hits enter, it will populate all the other fields. This is the way it has always been done. This version runs after the fact which doesn't let the person indexing compare the results to the image they are…

  14. Enable viewer to show several pages at once

    We have a lot of invoices with 2 or 3 pages. It would therefore be a great time saver if the viewer window would display all 2 or 3 pages at once. After all, there is more than enough grey space for that even if the first page is being displayed in full hight.

  15. Provide different sort settings for keyword fields

    It seems to be the case, that if an MSSQL Database (DocuWare Cloud) is used, keyword field entries are automatically sorted in an alphabetical order after applying changes to them.
    This is not the case for MySQL Databases. Sometimes the order/sorting of the entered values are important for the customer or special use cases. It would be very nice to have possibilites to select how or if the entered values should be sort/ordered.

  16. Workflow Section Comments

    It would be nice to have a comment tool in Workflow where you could draw colored boxes around groups of activity blocks and add tool tips to the blocks that describes what that section of the workflow is doing.

  17. An option, where we can change the tab title in the browser to a chosen field

    When multiple tabs are open in the browser, it only shows "DocuWare". It would be nice to see the title of the open document or maybe to choose what field should be displayed in the tab title.

  18. Notification Time Frame Based on Curent Date

    I can create a list with the logic to show documents that are on or before a certain number of days out. It would be nice to be able to create a notification using the same logic. I can create a notification with a specific date, but I want to create the notification based on a time frame before or after the current date.

  20. User Last Login Date - Spotting Unused Accounts

    It would be great to have a Last Login Date shown for the users. Once a system grows beyond a certain point it can be a real challenge to sort out what accounts are not in use anymore. This simple tag would make that task a breeze.
