Keep the Copy Text to Clipboard feature when using Fulltext
When you use Fulltext to search the File Cabinet, you lose the Copy to Clipboard feature. It would be nice to be able to keep that feature.

Message when user is disconected
When a timeout is set for sessions.
It would be interesting for users to receive a message when disconnecting (Popup for example).
Currently they have to refresh the page or click on a link.

DocuWare Request search with operators AND/OR
In DocuWare Request a search for two words in the same field with operators AND/OR would be helpful.
The search should work for the fulltext search in DocuWare Request as well as for the advanced search in the individual fields e.g. 123456 AND test, 123456 OR test.1 vote -

Display an error message when logging out

Dark Mode
Please provide a Dark Mode option, i have to look at this thing all day and even with monitor adjustments it gets to be a bit much.

Have the email address show up vs the clients name after the email is stored in docuware. Work around RIGHT CLICK edit is not up to par, if you can show the CLIENTS name , why cant it just display the Users full email address

Specify initial doc version on Store
Provide for a user to choose the initial version number value for the document when storing under Version Management.
When replacing another system, documents may come with existing version numbers and need to progress from that point easily when migrated to DocuWare.

In Fixed Text editor, restore DELETE key functionality so that it deletes text instead of prompting to delete the entire field.
While editing the Fixed Text in a form, I'm accustomed to using the DELETE key to edit text. Whenever I do that in the Fixed Text editor, however, I'm prompted as to whether I want to delete the field. I click No, but the system provides considerable difficulty in letting me see where I was before I hit the DELETE key.

Make it possible to revert URL Integration encryption / function requirements
DocuWare 7.1 introduces a breaking change to URL Integration that login is now only possible with encrypted URL’s. The scope of functionality with this method has also been limited to specific function such as result list, viewer, etc. Several years ago we paid DocuWare Professional Services a significant sum of money to develop a customization with URL Integration that essentially allows customer to be redirected and login to DocuWare Web client using a custom login page. This functionality was dubbed AD Login Customization to the user they simply put in their AD username and password on this custom DocuWare login…

Color Rules for Lists, List Results and folders
It would be useful to configure that the results in a list can have colors depending on the rules assigned in that list.

Add Modified By and Entered By fields to fields visible in docTray.
Add Modified By and Entered By fields to fields visible in docTray. This would allow users who use a shared document tray to see which documents they are responsible for.

autoindex document tray
Document Trays should have the ability to autoindex when documents come in and either automatically store to File Cabinet or Pre-Index the documents as they arrive. This would alleviate the need to setup folder imports for the most part.

Print the user authorisations directly from DW.
Please add a function to print the user authorisations directly from DW. A requirement from auditors is to get that print directly from the application. As a SOX company were are audited every 3 months on authorisations set up. Auditors always ask to get that list directly from our applications

default tray or cabinet when data processing is not recognized from folders
When you import from folders and set data processing and the document is not recognized correctly it is taken to the favorite tray of the user who has executed the data processing, it would be a very good idea to configure a default tray or filing cabinet for when this happens and not be the user's favorite tray.
When you manage many import with folders, it is very useful if the documents that are not correctly recognized are moved to the correct tray or filing cabinet.

Use PDF Keyfields for indexing
The system does not recognize or utilize any of the fields already available created and available in a PDF document nor will docuware display any of that information that is contained in the document. This will be a huge shortcomming for any system. It is critically important that we find a way to pickup the meta data from the PDF and display the metadata found within the PDF or we will at some time have a competitor that will and they will have an distinct advantage.....Docuware does not at this time apply all of the PDF standards correctly for viewing…

Bring back sorting of Memo type fields
Previous versions allowed users to sort memo fields in a result dialog/view. This seems to have been removed or partially removed in 6.12 and v7, and does not exist in 7.1.

Workflow Dashboard for Reporting / Monitoring / Analysis
Provide a dashboard for the workflow that would allow an administrator or department manager the ability to view the status of all the documents in the workflow, see who has the document, how long they have had the document and provide the outputting of a full report on documents in the workflow with this information in a format that would allow the user to review the workflow activity to determine if there are bottlenecks, people not doing their jobs, more accurate tracking of time to process documents, etc.
157 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Filtering option of my tasks so user can choose which workflows to view
When multiple companies use Docuware cloud and all access is granted to the administrators or trainers, there should be a way to filter for which company tasks you would like to see. Currently when I go to my tasks i see both companies multiple tasks and is hard to accomplish work.
