Notifications Message: Provide more than one field for us to set up to show as the value for the link to the document.
We have a notification set up for whenever a patient submits a form. The index dialog has a First Name, Last Name, Document Date, etc. We don't have any way to uniquely identify this document without being able to show more than one field.
Unfortunately, DocuWare only provides one field to show as the link to the document.
We would prefer a way to use multiple fields to show more descriptively what the document is for.

Enable the same search configuration for dates that you have in List and AutoIndex configuration setup
You already provide configuration options for Lists and even in AutoIndexing that let us search for more than explicit dates.
Please enable this for us for Search.

Archive EML files in Docuware with attachment
Our company wants a very necessary feature. We consider it necessary that if we want to archive an email, this is done completely and thus legally secure. The EML file should be placed with attachment in Docuware and be visible in the Viewer with multiple pages. We ask you to integrate this feature. Sincerely, F. Tasche Himmel u. Allow preindexing in an Intelligent Indexing document tray
When you are bulk storing docs via Intelligent Indexing, you still want them stored in the file cabinet in the order they were captured.
So the user will want to 'Store Automatically' the entire group. However, a couple may have to have index fields fixed first. Should be able to preindex them without having to store them out of order

Allow clipping files already in storage
Presently documents that are in the inbox/tray can be only be clipped to a document in storage, or else another document in the inbox/tray. Not sure why that is. I had the idea that one person could be responsible for inputting and indexing AP invoices, and another for inputting and indexing checks. A third person would be responsible for clipping the checks to the invoice, verifying the check(s) match the invoice, then stamping it as Paid. But once a document is in storage it cannot be clipped to another document in storage. This is fairly limiting.
4 votesThank you for your idea. We added it to our collection of ideas and features and will further investigate it. We currently cannot say exactly when this idea will be implemented. As soon as we have more information we will update its status.

Display ALL of the select list options even if a value is present
When a value is already present in an index field, popping up the menu of acceptable values only shows an option for what is already in the field! That's pretty much useless. The end used has to delete what is there before he can change it to something else.

message bus
Is there any way to separate DocuWare from needing to depend on the Windows Message Bus? We are getting so tired of having to constantly needing to clear the message bus for our customers.

Possibility to add individual help text in dialogs
Especially for new employees it would help if you could add help text or bubbles next to the index fields in search and store dialogs, where you can provide useful hints and descriptions what this field is about and if there are some special things to take care...
This would make on-boarding of new employees a lot easier.

Check for for unique while entering value
It's frustrating if you populate the store dialog with all the data and after you hit store, you get the notification that the invoice is already stored.
It would save a lot of time if I am notified already while entering e.g. the invoice number that there is already an invoice with this number.

Modify index entries directly within result list
It would save some clicks if you can modify index entries of a document directly within the result list, instead of hitting right click > change index entries.

Add an 'autosave' feature to annotated docs
Fortis 'autosaves' any markups on documents. Would be great to pull over that feature as an option in the client viewer settings. "Automatically save annotations on document close - Yes/No"

Indexing Pulls More Than Needed
When storing a document into a cabinet using Web Client, the user is not able to highlight text from the document if the text is spread over two lines. The behaviour of the indexing is that it grabs the entire text on both lines rather than the required words.

Index value fields
Die Userrolleneinstellung bei Index Fields funktioniert im Workflow nicht, weil es die Option "Can be empty" oder "new entry" nicht gibt. Der User hat im Workflow nicht die Berechtigung etwas zu genehmigen, falls er seine Rolle im Index Value Field angelegt wurde.
Nur wenn man eine neue Rolle im Custom anlegt, dann funktionert workflow. Hier gibt es Anpassungsbedarf bzw. ich sehe das als Bug von Docuware an.

Make tasks "read" only when the image is opened
Currently it only takes a single click to cause the record to be marked as read, even though the image has not been opened with a double-click.
Bolded tasks are those that have yet to be read. Bolded tasks are also viewed by those monitoring the workflows. It is incorrect that the approver has read an invoice if they have not yet opened the image.

Provide this option in Workflow to auto open or not the next record
Create a setting allowing any user to enable/disable whether the next invoice in the approval task list automatically pops open when you are completed with your 1st one.
This is currently an option for Stamps, but not for Workflow. Why not? In the configuration of Stamps, it is possible to select when the next record is opened, or when the current document is closed. It is assumed in Workflow that the next record should be automatically opened.

When you are in a file, there should be a note tab to write a note regarding any recent notes to the file.

Optional Cloud Expiration Countdown Login Dialog
Please provide an optional count down for clients so they know when their DocuWare Cloud will expire. This should be enabled by the reseller on a case by case basis. I believe it should be offered when the client logs on with 30 days to go. Each time they log on with 30 or less days of service, a dialog could come up presenting the number of days remaining.
