DW Cloud - Make More Database Elements Available for Select Lists/Autoindex
For Select Lists and Autoindex routines the tables available in the cloud are somewhat dialed back, and since I am not looking to update anything in these tables it seems like it would be harmless to make more of them available to us. The case today was a situation where in an on premise system I can create a select list for the users in a group or role, but I can't get to the tables needed to do this in the cloud.

Make stamps searchable
Stamps do not appear to be searchable. It would be very beneficial if a content search be able to search these stamps.

Allow documents storage in batches instead of having to store each individual document.
After you drag multiple documents to the Inbox simultaneously, they are all highlighted and you can select the "STORE" box, but the next step forces you to select STORE once again individually for each item needing to be stored, which is completely redundant. They were already all highlighted and STORE was selected, at which point a "group store" would be adequate. After all, there is always the option of deleting a document later on, if this was a mis-step.

Type Signatures in Forms
Typing a signature is available in work flows but, not available in forms. Using the mouse to make a signature usually comes out sloppy. It would be nice to be able to type a signature in forms.

separate user name and password entry screens
Separate screens for user name entry and password entry to improve security. Current one screen model lends itself to brute force attacks.

restore the ability to filter select lists in the cloud using SQL statements
I'm building a pretty standard AP setup using cloud 7.1 and just want the users to pick from a list of open purchase orders that are stored in DW. can't do it! why not? can't filter select lists using SQL statements in the cloud! wtf? bring it back.

Add Instructions to Store Dialogs
I have customers with multiple store dialogs that get confused on what each dialog does. It would be good to have a box at the top of the store dialog that says what the dialog does and maybe what workflow it would kick off.

Add the ability to pull up documents using document relations with a string of characters
EX: store Packing Slip with PO Number 123
Store a Purchase Order with PO Number 456
Store an Invoice with PO Number 123;456Allow the string of characters to pull up documents containing both entries separated by semi-colon

Store Dialog Validation should use same license as current user
Currently an additional license is needed to run a Validation on document storage. The logged in user license should be able to be passed through to enable the validation. Alternatively making a validation run without a license would work too.
It doesn't make sense to need an additional license just to run validations.

Allow progress to be saved on a workflow task
It would be nice to be able to save work on a workflow task for completion at a later time.
For instance, when filling out GL account information on an invoice with a lot of line items, it would be nice to be able to save the progress to be completed later. Let's say I have an invoice with 50 line items that all need to be coded to a different account. Maybe I get to line 30 and need to go to a meeting. There isn't any way to save my progress so I can finish later.

Verify and remove the check digit on barcode
it would be helpful that in the barcode reading configuration there is the possibility to remove the barcode check digit.

Please bring back the option to Sort By: "Comments"
Please bring back the option to Sort By: "Comments". This allowed us to categorize and prioritize on items that are due asap more efficiently.

Add Conditional Merge Form Templates
It would be useful to only Merge onto specific templates based on a condition.
I have a client that has variations on some of their PDF templates used for Merge Forms (usually between 2 and 6 variations). For example, headers and footers may differ between departments, but the information being merged is generic.
Currently I give each Merge Form a unique fixed entry (i.e. department name) which gets matched against the department selected in a drop down list. When the forms enter a workflow, the documents where the selected entry does not match the fixed entry get marked for deletion.

In a workflow table field entry I would like to set a required field for a specific row.
In a workflow table field entry I would like to set a required field for a specific row. Here is an example. We have therapy evaluations. The referral comes in and is scheduled for the different therapy types with a table field that has the therapy type, date, location, and completion date. Then the therapists do the evaluations and they fill in the completion date. I would like to require that they fill in the completion date but if I require it then the first person to complete the evaluation would have to enter a date for the rest of…

Have a way to found out how many selections there were in a multi-select field.
I have not found a way to get the quantity of options that were selected in a multi select field in the workflow. This should be quite straightforward as I assume a multi-select is just a generic list or array so accessing this value should be as simple as List.Count or Array.Length, but with the current tools in the user interface it doesn’t seem possible

Add functions "Copy to.." and "Quick copy to..." in Tools Box
In the tools box, it will be interesting to add functions "Copy to.." and "Quick copy to..." which are available in search list.
Like as send and download tools, you can choose to copy file, document or page and after copy you 'll have the choice to delete the copied file, document or page.2 votes -
Allow export of files to pdf searchable
If non text searchable PDF's are entered into DW and DW performs its own OCR so that we can high light text to enter into Store Dialogs; we should be able to export that same PDF out of DW so that it is in fact text searchable.

Allow fields to be removed in search pages
My default search has far more fields than I require. It would be useful if I could remove certain fields (like you can in results) so that I don't have to seach the screen to find the relevant ones.

Add a behavior to index fields in the search dialog
For instance, say that the top index field is called "Department" and there are 10 departments listed. Each department will have different documents and index fields that are unique to them.
When someone selects "Human Resources" as the Department, then a set of index fields will appear based upon that selection. Like an eForm "behavior".

single click to view documents in the viewer
Instead of double click, make document appear in the viewer with a single click. At a minimum, make it an option to choose between double click and single click.
