  1. Set notifications preferences

    It would be great if each user could set his notifications preferences on how to get the emails from the workflow manager. For example :
    1. send me a mail for each task
    2. send me a mail once a day
    3. send me a mail once a week

  2. Bring back the ability for field masks to auto format data.

    As an example if the mask is for a SSN, allow typing of 123456789 without the dashes. This needs to be for storing as well as searching and also point and shoot indexing

  3. Place Hoders for Signatures

    When opening a document that needs stamping/signing, it would be great if stamp go automatically go to a predefined location on the document (signature field).

  4. We need to be able to delete a specific page from a store document. There should be an easy way to remove a incorrectly clipped page

    When a user clips a page to a stored document by mistake, there is no way to remove that clip page once the clipping process is completed. We need an easy way to remove/delete/drop a specific page from a store document

  5. Possibility to call Specific players for specific files

    Possibility to call an external application for the consultation of specific files, for ex. an .swf file must be open by a flash player.
    When we try to open this kind of file, the viewer calls the program that was defined in advance.

  6. Clip Documents Directly in Results

    Hello, I would love to be able to clip documents directly in the results list. Currently, we must check documents to our tray, clip them together, than store them again. This of course leaves the individual pages behind, which we must manually delete or mark for deletion. It would be enormously helpful to be able to clip them together within the results list. Just shift or ctrl select the documents, right-click, and clip. I can't describe how much time this would save our company. Thank you very much for your consideration.

  7. Allow Documents To Be Placed in the Tray In The Order In Which They Were Selected

    When adding files to a tray from a result view or importing, the documents will not keep the order in which they entered the tray.
    This was a feature of the Windows client. They were added to the Basket Synchronously. With the web client they are added Asynchronously and if a larger file takes more processing in the queue it will go in later. Also the modification time seems to be based on minutes rather than the "milliseconds since Epoch to date". This also throws them out of order.

  8. Right to left interface when switch to Arabic

    Arabic language is right to left. therefore when switching to Arabic, clients will expect to have right to left interface and not only to translate words.

  9. 'Store Automatically' function should use dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and others

    When 'Store Automatically' is used from a Tray, all dialog settings such as 'Fixed Entries' and 'Predefined Entries' fields and 'Automatic Numbering' are ignored.
    Having the latter work when using 'Store Automatically' would be especially useful when Intelligent Indexing used in the Tray, and all 'green' documents are stored using this option.

  10. Email Notifications - File Cabinet vs Individual Users

    Docuware admins should be able to set a single email notification template for a file cabinet. Currently, admins must create an email notification for each user in the cabinet, which requires a lot of administrative overhead.

    Please allow the ability to set a notification template at the file cabinet level.

  14. User-name Watemarks when viewing sensitive documents

    for the documents that are deemed sensitive and are not allowed to be printed, downloaded or shared in any matter, it would be nice to have also a watermark of the username that is viewing the document printed on the document itself such that, if leaked by using a phone or other capturing device, it can be retraced to the user.

  15. grouping of search dialogs

    Idea from DocuWare Product Blog:
    Docuware should create a menu for search dialogues in a tree form so that grouped automatically showing only dialogs over file cabinet and go as needed. Often that choice is not enough for some users who actually work with many dialogs all the time.

  16. Share a document with an external (not docuware) user for a restricted period of time

    It would be AWESOME that i could share a big file in my DW system (for example the Docuware Main Brochure - 8 MB that i can't send by email) with prospects through a link. Have them be able to access that document only for a restricted period of time like 3 days, time in which they can download the document (no editing, just viewing and downloading).

  17. Apply version control to a document when annotations are added

    When annotations are made to a document they are not saved back as version controlled. This can cause challenges when a business may need to produce original document for legal reasons but still maintain the latest document with annotations for other business purposes. This idea could also address other customer feedback/idea postings relating to the need to print/email documents with or without annotations.

  18. Restore the ability to Attach, Delete, or Skip when pre-indexing

    Previous versions of DocuWare (Windows Client) allowed the user to essentially staple pages to a document when in the Storage Mask. The user would select a group of documents from a Basket and drag them to a store dialog, and click the pre-indexing check box. When clicked, this would enable three new buttons, Attach, Delete and Skip. This allowed the user to construct documents by attaching, deleting or skipping pages while indexing, without having to go back to a basket or tray. This was a big time saver in the Windows Client, and a big time waster when trying to…

  19. add bookmarks to the Viewer

    Every time I close a multi-page document in the Viewer I lose my place - it'd be great if I could place a bookmark (with or without a name), especially for those long documents.

    The "Place Bookmark" button could be in the Tools or Navigation section and the Navigation bar could allow you to scroll between multiple bookmarks, the way you scroll between pages and docs.

  20. Allow the 'Create Data Record' option available in the web client to also be available in Workflow Manager

    Allow the Assign Data activity to create data records in a file cabinet. Two use cases where this might be useful; the posting of GL records for invoices, where invoices are in one cabinet and GL records in another as a 1 to many relationship. And the prepopulating of index data for documents that may be added later, such as a PO for an Invoice or a Shipping Manifest or BoL.
