  2. Choose different inbox when autoarchive fails

    When the import fails, the documents go to the default inbox, and it would be fine, we could choose a different inbox for each kind of documents

  3. please restore the ability to export as multi-page tiff files.

    DocuWare customers have thousand of DWTiff files stored without a way to export them efficiently. Having each documents stored inside of its own zip file is very clunky.

    Also using DocuWare API cannot deal with DWTiffs'

  4. Ability to type in multiple index entries to a keyword field at once

    There should be a way to add multiple entries separated by a delimiter when adding entries to a keyword field. Currently you have to add them one by one hitting the + in between. This is horrible for the user when they have 50 plus entries. There are ways to do this in the background with a comma delimited load file so there should be a way to do this via the Web Client.

  6. Be able to set a folder dialog for documents in a tray

    A folder dialog is simply a method of viewing whats already there but sorting it in a pre-defined way. We can already sort a tray with very limited options so why can't we set up a folder dialog to show documents in a tray in a certain format? Or at the very least give us the capability to set our own custom filtering options.

  7. Sort out the loading page for document trays in configurations

    This is a cloud issue. We have a lot of document trays and 9/10 times when I open the document trays page in configurations it doesn't properly load requiring me to refresh several times until can finally scroll through them.

    The load times for them is too slow.

  8. Enable searches for document trays

    If I scan 50 documents to my document tray and none of the sort options are suitable then I have to manually scan the tray for the document I want to find.

    If I scan documents in a certain order they are imported to the tray in a random order 9.5/10 times. Using the created on or modified on filter doesn't do the job of helping me find what i'm looking for.

    Printer/Import configs help give documents names to help identify instead of a printer scanner meaningless name but you should be able to search for something specific instead of…

  9. Update the status of the cloud more frequently

    The product overview page is not updated frequently enough for us. It should be updated more frequently than it currently is. We basically have to guess how much storage we are using most of the time.

  10. Change the max limit of results to more than 10K

    When doing a blank search I want to determine how many documents are in a cabinet, it maxes out at 10K and also provides different numbers every time I search.

    Why does this most basic feature not already exist? Has no one else ever wondered how many docs are in a cabinet?

  12. Add a popup icon to the DW icon in task bar if there are documents in inbox

    See attached file. I had a customer Pease & Sons Inc. that made this suggestion. They have a user that is not in the system all the time but would like a notification when documents are put into her tray. This occurs as other users all put documents into her tray. If there was just a window notification or little number (see image) it would help her know that she has something to do.

  14. Automatic Stamp

    There is a Module for Docuware called "AutoStamp". As DSC, this module would be useful for all my customers.
    I suggest that you create a nice Config for AutoStamp instead of having to edit the xml files and publish it either in the DW Standard or as an extra Module.
    Just include it in DocuWare and not run it as its own webservice, this is horrible.

  15. Numerical Fields have a Value Limit

    The numerical fields have a limit of 2,147,483,647 and -2,147,483,647, so when you try to make an entry with a higher value, you get an error. When this is converted to currency, then limit becomes 21,474,836.47 and -21,474,836.47, so multi-million (dollar) transactions can not be recorded.
    My request is to have this limit increased.

  16. Scan Operator Reporting

    It would be beneficial to have some simple reporting build into DocuWare. We routinely check to see if our scan operators are scanning at least scanning at a speed to meet scan quotas. The SQL queries to do this our self is a bit frustrating since no one in support seems to know the table structure very well. They were nice enough to try and help though!

  17. Allow Windows login to specify user

    Currently Windows Login only automatically logs you in as whatever account you're currently signed into the Windows session with. It would be great to also allow an option to specify a different windows user. This would be highly beneficial for IT admins who need to jump from account to account, like admin or SA accounts vs personal accounts.

  19. Clipping from an external file cabinet

    We have a file cabinet, Job Tracking, whose documents are packets that develop as manufacturing occurs. For example, templates are clipped at different general tasks in the workflow.

    It would be great to keep the templates in another FC and be able to clip them in from there.

    REQUEST:
    Create the ability to clip a document from one file cabinet to a document in another FC.

  20. Date Format. Can format be set at system level as opossed to each user . European format rather than US

    We have found that the date is set to US format. We are in Europe so want to have the format set to European. Support tell us that this can be done locally for each user. Would it be possible to set this at a system level rather than relying on the user to do it.

    Thank you for your idea.
    Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.

    The DocuWare Web Client determines regional settings automatically by using the browser settings. If the users browser is set to englisch (US) then the user will automatically see US formatted dates.
