Ability to Print from a Docuware Forms submission.
The ability to submit a Docuware Form, to have it populate to a merge form, as well as print locally, if needed.

Clipping from an external file cabinet
We have a file cabinet, Job Tracking, whose documents are packets that develop as manufacturing occurs. For example, templates are clipped at different general tasks in the workflow.
It would be great to keep the templates in another FC and be able to clip them in from there.

Date Format. Can format be set at system level as opossed to each user . European format rather than US
We have found that the date is set to US format. We are in Europe so want to have the format set to European. Support tell us that this can be done locally for each user. Would it be possible to set this at a system level rather than relying on the user to do it.

If the users browser is set to englisch (US) then the user will automatically see US formatted dates.

Print when using connect to outlook
When storing to connect to outlook add an option to redirect to a printer.

Data in Form fields from different source
The ability to pull data into fields on a form from another datasource.
Eg. Enter InvoiceNumber and the rest of the fields in the form is automatically filled.

Restore workflows in the cloud
If DocuWare expects their ADP's to move any of their larger clients into the cloud from on-premise systems, they will need to allow us to create Restore Workflows on DocuWare-Online.
Synchronizations are to unreliable, and export workflows take an excruciatingly long time to run.
We need to be able to FTP the documents up to the cloud and then only have to run a restore workflow to update the database.
Tech Support claims this would compromise security, but that doesn't make sense.

In Docuware Cloud create a connection to a local database and through autoindex can download the log of events of each filecabinet.

Enable sorting by Total Pages in document trays
Tray docs may be sorted by all fields except Total Pages. It's an interesting omission considering that it's the only attribute by which trays docs are not able to be sorted.

Implement a filter/search button to search for a value in a list
We have many lists for our large user group. When someone asks us to add or remove a value in a list, to my knowledge, there is no way to select a list then run a search to find if a value already exists. This is especially true where we have multi column lists.

need to be able to export multi-page tiff's
The windows client gave us the ability to export dwtiff's as multi-page tiff's. We still have some customers who cannot be upgraded past DW 6.7 because of the need to export dwtiff's out of DocuWare to write to micro-film to meet state requirements.
Currently if dwtiff's are downloaded, each document becomes a separate zip file with all of the individual dwtiff's inside of it. Please bring back this feature to the web client.
Using DocuWare's API functions in the same way.

How can a user search a file cabinet index date field that is empty?

create inbox when creating user
You can't create a document tray when creating new user, if a file cabinet has not been assigned to user.
With DocuWare's emphasis on using roles instead of individual assignments, this causes problems.

Visual Display of Cabinets during search
I suggest that you enable a visual display of document categories in folder form. (The same way you can view folders and subfolders plus files)

Searching multiple values within one field
We have a file cabinet called Connections, in Connections we have fields such as Company, Document Type, Installer, Dates, FullText field
I would like the option to select multiple companies to search upon.
For example: Selecting multiple companies from the drop down of the Company field, then either selecting a certain document type, or a certain fulltext, or none at all, just selecting multiple companies and clicking search to see all the pdfs associated

Add additional permissions to document trays
It would be nice to be able to break out the 'use' permission on a document tray to be two separate permissions: View and Modify. Currently, personnel have full access to another persons working tray when they have the Use permission applied, but they have requested the ability to lock down their own trays where others on the team have visibility (View / Read Only), but not edit.

Ability to change FC or document access during workflow
This idea would add to document control when combining workflow and version control.
Users of a file cabinet with controlled documents would live in no edit or read-only status. However, during a workflow, a task would allow (say via a stamp) designated users the right to check-out, edit, and check-in the document prior to continuing. Following tasks would be assured to function using only the new version. Hence control of the document and versioning.

Please give us a pop up menue when new work flow is uploaded.
When we upload a new document to the workflow it go into the normal que an does not alert us to there is a new document that is uploaded. can we get a alert or alarm to say new document uploaded?

allow filters on stamp configuration
Currently, some of my customers have a ton of stamps with no way to sort other than get into the admin tool.
Would like to maybe add a filter such as the ones allowed for Related Docs. That way you can tie the appearance of particular stamps to rely on the metadata of the document. (INVOICE doctype would show AP related stamps)

Would like to be able to do a Search & Replace on all docs in DocuWare by searching on a specific field.
It would be nice to be able to do a Search & Replace on all docs in DocuWare by searching on a specific field and typing first what your looking for and then replacing it with.
