  1. please restore the ability to export as multi-page tiff files.

    DocuWare customers have thousand of DWTiff files stored without a way to export them efficiently. Having each documents stored inside of its own zip file is very clunky.

    Also using DocuWare API cannot deal with DWTiffs'

  2. Be able to set a folder dialog for documents in a tray

    A folder dialog is simply a method of viewing whats already there but sorting it in a pre-defined way. We can already sort a tray with very limited options so why can't we set up a folder dialog to show documents in a tray in a certain format? Or at the very least give us the capability to set our own custom filtering options.

  3. Sort out the loading page for document trays in configurations

    This is a cloud issue. We have a lot of document trays and 9/10 times when I open the document trays page in configurations it doesn't properly load requiring me to refresh several times until can finally scroll through them.

    The load times for them is too slow.

  4. Update the status of the cloud more frequently

    The product overview page is not updated frequently enough for us. It should be updated more frequently than it currently is. We basically have to guess how much storage we are using most of the time.

  6. Numerical Fields have a Value Limit

    The numerical fields have a limit of 2,147,483,647 and -2,147,483,647, so when you try to make an entry with a higher value, you get an error. When this is converted to currency, then limit becomes 21,474,836.47 and -21,474,836.47, so multi-million (dollar) transactions can not be recorded.
    My request is to have this limit increased.

  7. Scan Operator Reporting

    It would be beneficial to have some simple reporting build into DocuWare. We routinely check to see if our scan operators are scanning at least scanning at a speed to meet scan quotas. The SQL queries to do this our self is a bit frustrating since no one in support seems to know the table structure very well. They were nice enough to try and help though!

  8. Clipping from an external file cabinet

    We have a file cabinet, Job Tracking, whose documents are packets that develop as manufacturing occurs. For example, templates are clipped at different general tasks in the workflow.

    It would be great to keep the templates in another FC and be able to clip them in from there.

    REQUEST:
    Create the ability to clip a document from one file cabinet to a document in another FC.

  9. Would like to be able to do a Search & Replace on all docs in DocuWare by searching on a specific field.

    It would be nice to be able to do a Search & Replace on all docs in DocuWare by searching on a specific field and typing first what your looking for and then replacing it with.

    While configuring the file cabinet field, is there a way where the administrator can have an info(help) icon that tells user(s) that the said field is important because of some reasons.

  12. Implement a filter/search button to search for a value in a list

    We have many lists for our large user group. When someone asks us to add or remove a value in a list, to my knowledge, there is no way to select a list then run a search to find if a value already exists. This is especially true where we have multi column lists.

  13. need to be able to export multi-page tiff's

    The windows client gave us the ability to export dwtiff's as multi-page tiff's. We still have some customers who cannot be upgraded past DW 6.7 because of the need to export dwtiff's out of DocuWare to write to micro-film to meet state requirements.

    Currently if dwtiff's are downloaded, each document becomes a separate zip file with all of the individual dwtiff's inside of it. Please bring back this feature to the web client.

    Using DocuWare's API functions in the same way.

  14. Re-index selected store documents if an import configuration is changed

    In some cases, Import configuration indexing doesn't work as well as expected, perhaps due to improper setting, or incorrect anchor, It would be nice to be able to re-index selected misindexed documents once the import configuration is changed

    I suggest that you enable a visual display of document categories in folder form. (The same way you can view folders and subfolders plus files)

  17. Ability to change FC or document access during workflow

    This idea would add to document control when combining workflow and version control.

    Users of a file cabinet with controlled documents would live in no edit or read-only status. However, during a workflow, a task would allow (say via a stamp) designated users the right to check-out, edit, and check-in the document prior to continuing. Following tasks would be assured to function using only the new version. Hence control of the document and versioning.

  18. Please give us a pop up menue when new work flow is uploaded.

    When we upload a new document to the workflow it go into the normal que an does not alert us to there is a new document that is uploaded. can we get a alert or alarm to say new document uploaded?

  20. Add DW Control font to Merge Form Designer

    Somewhat related to Idea #: 18813022 but maybe a quicker implementation due to using current functionality.

    Allow the use of the DW Control font that would insert the codes needed based on options available when the font was chosen.

    So all the commands listed at this link about DW Control:

    The ones that make sense could be available for use in order to quickly scan and index any printed out forms that were completed by hand later.

    Typically you'd have to create an import config for auto indexing of scanned documents. This would enable users to bypass…
