Add the ability to print just the view of the Viewer Window
We work with many clients who view large drawings and sometimes need to print a section of the map. It would be beneficial to add the ability to print just the view of the viewer, even if zoomed in. Right now, if the user zooms in to the portion of the map and chooses the Print function, it opens in the PDF viewer and the user has to zoom in all over again.

Clip documents from File Cabinet
Requested ability to clip a document from a file cabinet to a document in the task list. This would prevent the need to "copy" to the basket, then clip, then delete the original from the filing cabinet.

Stamp locations
My idea would be to have the option with Tasklist to be able to set a specific location on a document for the a stamp to be placed automatically. Individual stamp configuration would be idea. Mobile clients don't seem to be able to get the stamp in the same spot as the web client.

Add ability in DocuWare Tasks and WorkFlow to create a task without having a document already created.
Sometimes users need to be assigned a task to do a specific function such as create documents. Currently, a user would need to create a document to request a new task to create a new document. Once the task has been submitted and workflow started the original "request" document is not needed or useful.
Adding the ability to Create a task that includes data fields that are customizable by administrators and for specific users to see would solve many issues. I envision that there would be a button under tasks that would say Create a task and based on the…
3 votesYou can accomplish this currently by creating a database entry from a document tray. Just unselect all documents and the store button will be a “Create database entry” button. Then enter index entries that would trigger a workflow. The workflow will just start like with a document and you have the possibility to add a document at any later time.

Allow to select multiple field to name a document
Today only one field can be used to name a document. but very often a good name is composed with two or more field (type of document + customer reference or date ) etc...

Save search criteria in multi cabinet saved searches
It would be helpful for a user/administrator to be able to save search criteria in multi-cabinet saved searches/task list.

Selecting Index Entries
When entering index entries - if the drop down items could be selected with the TAB key in addition to Selecting with your cursor or Entering it would speed up the selection process.

Color coding or flagging items in the Task List for higher priorities
It would be nice if we had the ability to either color code or flag items in the task list if they have a higher priority than others. This would make them more noticeable for the people working the lists and not allow them to get lost in the mass amounts of work to be done.

Allow more complex conditions for email notification triggers
We would like to be able to generate triggers based on conditions that contain a combination of AND and OR such as the following:
Status = "Needs approval" AND
Department = "Accounting" OR Department = "Billing"One solution would be to have the ability to reference a task list to obtain the conditions for the email trigger since many times there is a related task list and the task lists allow for more complex conditions.

When using 'Keep Entries' have an option NOT to carry over field which is 'FileName'
When Multiple documents with similar Index data are stored, an option should be available to have the 'File Name' field come from the next document, not carried over from previous one. Would be even better if a selection can be made which fields are carried over and which are not.

When you have many baskets, you don't know in which one you have documents. It would be perfect to have a symbol to see which basket is empty and which not

Store and seach dialog
I suggest you make store and seach dialogs possible to copy to other file cabinets, because the prosses with ordering the fields is MASSIVE! If you have 50 Field for example, all the pressing on left mouse key is hurting my finger ;)

It would be nice if there would be a total of all the pages in the document tray.
See attachment. I would like to see a total at the bottom. Example: Total 283
