Flag document if workflow has been stopped or errored
Workflow Controllers have the option to stop a workflow instance and, it may happen that a workflow errors and then stops. In both cases the document will retain the current document status and it may go unnoticed by the workflow users to find out that a task simply has disappeared from their list. It would be great to have an ability to catch these documents either in a List or in a system workflow which then sends tasks or email notifications to dedicated members of staff - who are not necessarily workflow controllers

"Document in workflow" flag in result list
It would be very helpful to have a flag in the result list to see which documents are currently in a workflow. At the moment the users will have to build rather complex searches for various different status entries to identify all documents which are still in a workflow process. If there was a flag like the paper clip for appended pages, it would help the users a lot

In a workflow table field create a row for each item in a keyword field
I have a form with checkboxes that index in a keyword field. I would like to create a row in a table field for each of those keywords in a workflow. If I set up the default value to be the keyword field it puts all of them in one row. That isn't very helpful.

Make workflow dialog field behaviors like form behaviors
In docuware forms you can set up field behaviors based on other fields and such for example you could have a checkbox for a married status that reveals or hides a field for maiden name. I would like to do that with workflow dialogs. For example If I have a document that was created with a form and has keywords indexed I would like to hide items in the workflow dialog that don't apply to that document. In my case I have a form to request therapy evaluations. There are 7 check boxes on the form and there is no…

General Email - Allow Separate Attachment Files
In General Mail capture It would be quite useful to allow for attachment files to come in as separate files instead of having to unclip them. Perhaps the option, as sometimes clipped might be best. I run into this on a farily regular basis.

audit trail/ reporting
Increased functionality with audit reporting. Add the ability to add criteria (other then date) the search parameters. Be able to search by event, user and then be able to sort the results A to z or z to a.

Define reminder dates for tasks based on due dates rather than define due dates by reminder dates
I frequently have workflows that require tasks to be due by x number of days after an indexed date.
The problem is I can only set the reminder date by a variable, which requires me to hardcode the due date after a reminder date.I have a situation where a reminder date is 1 week before a due date, and the due date should be 30 days after a date index field.
If the document is stored the day before the task needs to be due, the reminder date defaults to the following day (since a reminder cannot be set…

Make Emailing a Doc Available Without the Desktop Apps
I install a LOT of DW Desktop Apps only to get the Email a Document function. Would be great to have this made a part of the base web client experience. I would expect that there are probably some pretty good technical considerations to something like this, but would really be great. The web client is just so nice, and adding this functionality would allow a very large group of users to be fully functional with no local installs.

Right now we are focusing on other topics, so we are not considering this idea for future releases. If the demand for this topic increases, we might add it to future plans.Currently browsers do not allow to open an email application with an attachment. That´s why we need a local application to download the document and then attaching the document to the email.

Create a way to add a DocuWare document to an existing email thread
When responding to an email, if you want to attach a DocuWare document, you have to save it onto your desktop and then attach it. Can DocuWare be configured to allow for attaching a document in a thread.

Stamp Visibility on Document Criteria
Stamps can perform very specific actions, sometimes only appropriate for documents of certain document types, statuses or other defining criteria. Right now the stamps all show for anything in the specified File Cabinet, but would be great if we could filter when they show up based on defined index values.

Remove check box in Desktop Apps Import configuration that prevents the file from importing until the file is completely written to folder
Remove check box in desktop app folder import configuration that tells the import profile to wait to upload a file until the file is completely written to the folder. The functionality should be hard coded. I can't think of a use case where you would want to import a file that wasn't fully written to a folder.

Have the "Document locked" message display larger and longer
Our internal department has requested that when a 2nd user attempts to open a document that another user has opened in a task list that the "Document is locked by" message window be larger and over the document image longer before it fades away (or stay until ok is clicked). They state that it is easy for a user to not see the message before it disappears as they are working on multiple monitors and multiple applications all day long.

Improve Testing and Add Unit Tests to Workflow
Allow us to create saved unit tests for the workflow system.
That way we can press a button to see if any modifications broke anything in the system.Also date manipulation is broken in the testing environment. Using VBA expressions to change a date, defaults the date to the year 0001 in testing but works fine in actual workflows.

Display number of document in document trays
Hello,
It would be very helpful if the number of documents in each trays was display in the list of the document trays (see picture).
When a user have to deal with a great number of document trays, it will help to increase his productivity.

Allow documents storage in batches instead of having to store each individual document.
After you drag multiple documents to the Inbox simultaneously, they are all highlighted and you can select the "STORE" box, but the next step forces you to select STORE once again individually for each item needing to be stored, which is completely redundant. They were already all highlighted and STORE was selected, at which point a "group store" would be adequate. After all, there is always the option of deleting a document later on, if this was a mis-step.

HEIF/HEIC Image Support
It would be nice to have the new standard image format HEIF/HEIC supported by the WebClient Viewer (and the configuration pages like Printer), as this format is slowly becoming the new standard, replacing .JPEG.
It is already integrated in all mayor OS and the standard format for pictures taken with iOS.See this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Efficiency_Image_File_Format

Print to paper
The right click option to print only allows you to print to pdf with our without annotation. I wish there was an option to print to selected device. Sometimes, I really just need a paper copy to mail with a check. "Printing" a pdf document to open in a pdf viewer, to then click print, to then pick my printer and click ok is a lot of extra steps when you need a piece of paper.
