  1. Add Modified By and Entered By fields to fields visible in docTray.

    Add Modified By and Entered By fields to fields visible in docTray. This would allow users who use a shared document tray to see which documents they are responsible for.

  2. autoindex document tray

    Document Trays should have the ability to autoindex when documents come in and either automatically store to File Cabinet or Pre-Index the documents as they arrive. This would alleviate the need to setup folder imports for the most part.

  3. Print the user authorisations directly from DW.

    Please add a function to print the user authorisations directly from DW. A requirement from auditors is to get that print directly from the application. As a SOX company were are audited every 3 months on authorisations set up. Auditors always ask to get that list directly from our applications

  4. default tray or cabinet when data processing is not recognized from folders

    When you import from folders and set data processing and the document is not recognized correctly it is taken to the favorite tray of the user who has executed the data processing, it would be a very good idea to configure a default tray or filing cabinet for when this happens and not be the user's favorite tray.

    When you manage many import with folders, it is very useful if the documents that are not correctly recognized are moved to the correct tray or filing cabinet.

  5. Use PDF Keyfields for indexing

    The system does not recognize or utilize any of the fields already available created and available in a PDF document nor will docuware display any of that information that is contained in the document. This will be a huge shortcomming for any system. It is critically important that we find a way to pickup the meta data from the PDF and display the metadata found within the PDF or we will at some time have a competitor that will and they will have an distinct advantage.....Docuware does not at this time apply all of the PDF standards correctly for viewing…

  6. Bring back sorting of Memo type fields

    Previous versions allowed users to sort memo fields in a result dialog/view. This seems to have been removed or partially removed in 6.12 and v7, and does not exist in 7.1.

  7. Workflow Dashboard for Reporting / Monitoring / Analysis

    Provide a dashboard for the workflow that would allow an administrator or department manager the ability to view the status of all the documents in the workflow, see who has the document, how long they have had the document and provide the outputting of a full report on documents in the workflow with this information in a format that would allow the user to review the workflow activity to determine if there are bottlenecks, people not doing their jobs, more accurate tracking of time to process documents, etc.

  8. Filtering option of my tasks so user can choose which workflows to view

    When multiple companies use Docuware cloud and all access is granted to the administrators or trainers, there should be a way to filter for which company tasks you would like to see. Currently when I go to my tasks i see both companies multiple tasks and is hard to accomplish work.

  9. I suggest that you provide the ability to change and save the wording in the Subject and Text fields of the Send Request Command.

    Have the ability to allow users to save wording in the Subject and text fields on the Send Request command. This can will give some rationalization for user/groups and flexibility to there responsibilities.

  10. Select a role as a select list for drop down lists in DocuWare Forms

    I want to be able to populate a drop down list with users from a role, without having to create a select list that mirrors the role.

  11. Add Conditional Merge Form Templates

    It would be useful to only Merge onto specific templates based on a condition.

    I have a client that has variations on some of their PDF templates used for Merge Forms (usually between 2 and 6 variations). For example, headers and footers may differ between departments, but the information being merged is generic.

    Currently I give each Merge Form a unique fixed entry (i.e. department name) which gets matched against the department selected in a drop down list. When the forms enter a workflow, the documents where the selected entry does not match the fixed entry get marked for deletion.

  14. The max amount of given select list entries

    The max amount of given select list entries (SelectListsMaxCount) should be set individual for the cloud organisation.
    The maximum standard of 50 entries is reached quickly in normal operation.

  15. stamping idea

    I suggest that you improve stamping as to you can highlight a lot of of documents at once(ctr+a) and be able to stamp them at one go than to open first then stamp, time consummation.

  16. Have a field select list show only accurate choices in store dialog when Intelligent Indexing is enabled.

    If I expect to have correct entries displayed in a field’s select list, I cannot use Intelligent Indexing. If I want to use Intelligent Indexing, I cannot expect a field’s select list to display an accurate list.

    Docuware support has said this is functioning as designed and working as intended. I would like to have the intended functionality changed so selection lists are accurate when using Intelligent Indexing.

  17. Allow users to Rotate Multiple Pages in the Document Overview

    There are many occasions that multiple pages or whole documents are rotated in DocuWare.

    We would like a function where we can select and rotate pages in the Document Overview in the DocuWare Document Viewer.

  18. Share to DocuWare from all text based iOS Apps

    Need to have DocuWare added as a share location in text apps. This way a doctor/lawyer etc. could dictate his notes, and then send into DocuWare tray (like you can currently in the PaperScan app.) This would be an extremely helpful addition. The attached screen shot shows were I would like it to appear in all apps. Thank you

  19. Allow a storage dialogue prompt when printing to docuware

    When printing to Docuware, sometimes there's not the full indexing information available on the document (account numbers sometimes are not allowed on certain documents but still should be stored by account number). The ability to choose Print to Docuware from a website/PDF and it recognizes the Document and prompts a storage dialogue box like it does in "Connect to Outlook" to let you fill in the prompted indexing dialogue so that it can store straight to the File Cabinet and not the just the In-tray.

  20. Allow customization to the tab that opens with the RELATED ITEMS feature

    Love that we're able to right click in the list view and find related items. Sometimes I have multiple lists based on those related items and if we were able to name it something unique to the original item then it'd be easier to navigate my many open list views. If I right click a document to find related items and it searches by CUSTOMER NAME then the tab that opens could be that customer name instead of the name of the DOCUMENT RELATIONS JOB.
