Make more options global
This list of enhancements is not related to task lists only. Of course, this is the perspective of one user but I do believe some of these enhancements would make user and file cabinet administration much simpler.

Calendar Invite for workflow
We have many workflows where the process is sending the date and time of an event in an automated e-mail through workflow manager using the date / time feature. It would be wonderful if we could have the option in workflow designer to generate a calendar invite.

I suggest that you allow rearranging index fields on the "edit index field" screen.
Currently, the list of index fields shown on the "edit index field" screen are in order of when they were created. It would be great to allow rearranging of the list so they are in a more user friendly order, and not just "this is how I added them into Docuware" order.

documents a lock state of a document that won't allow two users to modify.
I have several customers that would like for the user experience to include a lock state of a document that won't allow two users to modify the same document. A user may make a change to an index field and another user has the same document open and can change the same field and nullify the changes of the user...

Add the ability to see the Bookmarks on the Viewer
We work with multi-page technical documents that have pre-defined bookmarks to ease the section navigation. The viewer within Docuware doesn't allow for bookmarks to be displayed and users have to surf through 600+ pages in order to find the content. It would be ideal if it could show the contents the same way Adobe Reader does.
We implemented a workaround where users would download the content and open it in it's native application but it is very inefficient and causes a high level of unnecessary network traffic.4 votesThank you for your idea. Store document by drag and drop on workflow task
Would be nice if a document could be stored when dragging this document from a doctray to a workflow task (workflow manager).
The only option for now is to append a document to a document in a workflow.
But in several occasions you want to store a document as a new doctype but with a lot of index information from a document in the workflow task.
This option is already available in taskmanager but not in workflow manager.7 votesThank you for your idea.

Allow the user to see differences in the document between versions
The users I'm working with need to see where are the differences between two versions of the same document. Would it be any way to implement something like the diff command ?

The clients have requested a better way to attach or replaces pages to an existing document than having to copy to a document tray
The clients have requested better way to replace a page in an existing document than having to copy and then select the order and clip or staple and store back.

Allow users to create their own Custom Searches.
Users should be able to create their own search lookup. That way they can customize their lookup and not have to manually enter search criteria or have the Admin create their own custom lookup. It would also be nice if the user had the ability to pin and rename favorite searches. I know there is similar option called Recent searches but it is not ideal and you can't rename them.

Extension Administrator for 6.10
Prior to 6.10 there was a Power Tool called the Extension Administrator. This has been removed (probably because of GAPI). It would be nice to have a similar power tool for 6.10+.

Open Workflow Task from a Search/Result List
Since there is no way to filter a Workflow, it would be nice to Open the current activity from a Search/Result List. For example, you can open the Workflow History, but you should be able to take the next activity

Direct Access to Files Within a Document
The current version of Docuware relies on PDF file structures but there are a great number of clients that have TIFF and DWTIFF images that are all each treated as a single clipped file in a Document. This creates a big problem for the users who wish to go directly to an image within a file with a large number of pages.
There are 2 solutions both of which I think need to be applied to Docuware as they both solve multiple problems.

Allow us to create dynamic store dialogues
I think it would be great if you could allow us to create dynamic store dialogues which could alter their layout depending on the document type chosen (or any other pre defined field for that matter).
For example, lets define a "key" field of a file cabinet store dialogue and lets say its the "document type" and we also give this a predefined select list. Then we may have many other fields of this cabinet but not all of these other fields may relate to each of the possible document types. It would be very useful and help guide the…

show open files without documents in Explorer - accommodating structured file plans
At my institution we have a structure file plan/classification scheme that must be adhered to. Users like using the Explorer View to browse for their documents, and we've currently set it up so that the first folder layer is the file code, with the specific folders belonging to that category displaying "within" it. The issue is that open files with no electronic documents attached to them do not display to the user. We have a work-around by putting a temp file in each newly created folder. Please make these open folders with no documents in them visible!

Be able to assign Stamps to only be availalbe for particular Task Lists.
Sometimes it can get quite confusing when a user has like 10 stamps assigned for a particular file cabinet. It would be nice to be able to assign certain stamps to only be available within a particular task list or index field value. This would eliminate issues where users are applying the wrong stamps at various stages of the Task List workflow .
For example, if a document is in the "Pending Approval" Task list, only show the Approved and Rejected stamp, rather than all 10 stamps assigned for this workflow.

Send email to the partner contact when 80% of the Intelling credit is reached
Right now only the customer contact receives an English message when 80% of Intelligent Indexing credit is used
The message should be in the langage configured in the portal and more important a copy should be send to the partner. So the partner could act before 100% of the limit is reached.

Have csv file output from DocuWare with keyword index field data entries
keyword values are not listed in CSV file output and these entries are lost in this report.
